Sure! :)
FallenSunGaming 15. okt. 2022 kl. 7:30
do you mind posting an update here once that's done SEModder4?
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 14. okt. 2022 kl. 13:13
All new models coming soon to this mod. The Amazing Sparky Fox is going to redo them all and make them look proper how they should have been from the start. :D

The mod will be re-released so as to not touch this one just yet until the bugs are worked out or in case you all like this one as is right now. :)

Give Sparky Fox a huge high-five when you see him! *wink*

I tested this on this on a ship that I was converting from hydrogen, and found that it was burning the hydrogen that was left on the ship. I quadruple-check the ship for any hydrogen thrusters and found none, so I can confirm that the Oxygen Thrusters aren't working properly.

They're still pretty cool though. :cozyspaceengineersc:
SnowyRay 26. sep. 2019 kl. 2:31
@SEModder04 By Fix, I meant a new skin is all. Haven't used them in a long time, although from testing the bug we had previously with the thrust consuming Hydrogen was fixed.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 23. sep. 2019 kl. 9:40
Tsubasa, I could upload your rebalance to this mod?
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 23. sep. 2019 kl. 9:39
What bug do I gotta fix so I can fix it? :)
SnowyRay 23. sep. 2019 kl. 6:38
Will these ever get a fix, I wonder. Great Mod, just wish someone would revive it...
Tsubasa 13. jan. 2019 kl. 22:47
Hello,

I would like to issue a rebalanced version of this mod for server gameplay reasons. May I have permission to upload the rebalance? All credits will be given to this mod.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 28. dec. 2017 kl. 16:53
Textures aren't my thing but I will.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 28. dec. 2017 kl. 16:53
No worries:)
SnowyRay 28. dec. 2017 kl. 16:23
The "incomplete textures" was pokin fun at the way the thruster looks. It looks like it's an incomplete texture for a game

Again, no offense :steammocking:
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 28. dec. 2017 kl. 13:10
When I can get some time I will. I am working on finishing my first ever super ship (8+ month project) and finishing updating the models for my Custom Jump Drives mod pack. :D

Incomplete textures? Got a screenshot?
SnowyRay 28. dec. 2017 kl. 7:48
When will these babies be getting a fresh coat of paint? I do love the functionality and all, but it's hard to make a ship that fits in with the "Space Age" when your thrusters look like incomplete textures. No offense.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2017 kl. 16:53
Sure, but won't be till the Weekend but yeah I love the idea.
TheJournier 8. nov. 2017 kl. 12:51
Just a suggestion... but could you make these like Hydro rockets. Only they run with oxygen. *got some plane builds in mind for these.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 7. maj 2017 kl. 8:59
Not sure how I can fix it as my best guess would be to make the hydrogen and oxygen thrusters run on a seperate conveyor system instead of running on a combined version. :)

However I will ask around to see what I can maybe do about it. :)
Greyson XMG 7. maj 2017 kl. 0:24
I have been troubleshooting my mods, and have (with 90% certanty) identified this mod as having a glitch.

Spicificialy, it seems that WHEN a oxy-ramjet is added to a grid ( small in this case ) Hydrogen thrusters (vanilla and modded) get VERY confused as to which type of fuel they should be using.

I have also seen the oxy-ramjets start taking fuel from hydrogen tanks.

The confusion seems to occour when you have both oxy-ramjets and hydrogen thrusters on the same ship.

This is killing me, cause I freaking LOVE THIS MOD.

Please check this out?
BigD9991 18. jan. 2017 kl. 18:14
What is the unit consumtion rate of oxygen trying to work out fuel times
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2016 kl. 20:53
Yup they will be getting the new conveyor doors that Keen made. Maybe even an entirely new model.
Just going through some rough times outside of SE modding, so I don't have an ETA. But I can confirm on them getting new models sometime. :)
Greyson XMG 9. dec. 2016 kl. 18:15
I hope this gets new skin, 'cause I don't think this mod should be forgotten.
Vas 6. sep. 2016 kl. 11:06
As for the spinning, I noticed that they do indeed spin based on the amount of thrust they are being told to use, unless its just spinning at whatever my current speed is. Hmm. The idle spin is kinda fast, thats what I meant by "off" is idle. Idle should probably not spin at all and it would start spinning when you start using it. One was going so fast it looked like it was going in reverse. :P
Vas 6. sep. 2016 kl. 11:04
Alright. I would definitely like these to have less effect in space however. Oxygen doesn't make a good propellant and spinning pieces of metal (fan blades) would not do diddly to improve it's thrust power in the vacuum of space. Like I said, it should be some highly minuscule amount. Like 1% the power it would have on the planet. Right now I have them on my station in orbit to act as oxygen fueled mono propellant to keep the station where its at, without giving it the ability to fly around like a ship but they are pretty powerful in space as is. I tried a land cruiser I had that uses those, and flew up into space at about 360m/s and was able to stop in the vacuum of space about the same speed as I could on the planet.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 6. sep. 2016 kl. 9:39
They should stop spinning when turned off, you could probably do that with a sensor that ticks it off when activated-- l.e landing on a platform.

The armor blocks for corners I could.....try but would be difficult.

I am not sure why the ship would fly downwards as that must be due to Keen reworking physics or just some weird bug with the way the ship flys with them.

I don't think I can set a vent to always depressurize according to the code we have now. :(
Vas 6. sep. 2016 kl. 0:03
I have this odd thing happening when I try to use these. I don't really understand whats going on. I should have more than enough oxygen flow but when I thrust foward, my ship goes downward, even though it can maintain hover and go up and down just fine. Even after I disabled half the thrusters on each side, it maintains stable hover and can go up and down at the same speed as before, but going forward causes me to also go downward. I saved a copy of the world with the ship, before I went and replaced all the thrusters with the normal Atmo versions.

Just a note, it would be nice if the blades didn't spin at all while the ship was landed somewhere or off. Spinning relative to their current thrust usage.

I'd also like a version that has the corners filled with metal, so that it can mesh together perfectly with armor blocks all around it if you'd be able to do that at some point.
Vas 5. sep. 2016 kl. 3:48
Think you could add a vent that is set to always depressurize, that doesn't have graphics of pulling air in? This way I can have some intake vents on my air cruiser that don't leave behind random dust clouds of intaking air every so often floating in random places when my system decides it needs more oxygen. :P Or perhaps you can have them set to not require anything but electricity while in high/low oxygen :P

I'd also make these not work at all in space, perhaps in micro amounts like an efficiency of 1% or something. It would roughly be the same as opening a window to let the oxygen out in order to move your ship, after all. :P

Also, I use this mod for oxygen rebalancing; http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=418587691 if it helps in coming up with a better balance for your thrusters. :P
PEDROCHEM 7. juni 2016 kl. 11:58
probably
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 7. juni 2016 kl. 11:10
Yeah I am not sure, I think oxygen consumption might be based on how much thrust it puts out.
PEDROCHEM 7. juni 2016 kl. 10:31
nah the efficiency doesn't tell me much but that might be because i have no idea how to calculate that
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 7. juni 2016 kl. 9:58
I believe that is hard-coded for right now, but the Efficiency code above should maybe tell how much they use but I am not quite sure. :)
PEDROCHEM 7. juni 2016 kl. 9:41
i have a minor question that i think should be in the decription how much oxygen does hese consume?
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 22. apr. 2016 kl. 20:44
GRRR!

FML, the screenshots show the fan blades backwards....
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 22. apr. 2016 kl. 20:43
That wasn't really my intention to "steal" someone elses name for whoever made "RamJet" products...
Dust 22. apr. 2016 kl. 20:34
You can't just stick on whatever fancy plane engine name you read somewhere on a shiny fan with a conveyor port and hope no one notices. That is definitely not a ramjet.
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 17. apr. 2016 kl. 15:37
nahh I know you didn't mean any offense and none taken.

Yeah it's every mod it has to do with the block categories.sbc and modding support or something. :)
PEDROCHEM 17. apr. 2016 kl. 15:02
no offence man its not just your mod ita basically every modded thruster i use even the azimuth thrusters do this from time to time
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 17. apr. 2016 kl. 14:43
ahh ok np.
PEDROCHEM 17. apr. 2016 kl. 13:49
i know that they work better thats not the problem i am just saying that there is some sort of bug somewhere that i have that others may or may not have this bug causes modded thrusters to randomly turn off completly for a random amount off time atmopheric or not
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 17. apr. 2016 kl. 13:23
Try the custom air vent included in the mod pack for them, they might work better then. :)
PEDROCHEM 17. apr. 2016 kl. 12:22
and they will prioritize tanks over vents it seems
so if you are using both on planets keep a watchful eye on those tanks
PEDROCHEM 17. apr. 2016 kl. 12:20
they work extremly well in space but only use these as boosters on planets no offence but they are quite unreliable sometimes they randomly cut out for whatever reason but as boosters or for space travel they work great!
SEModder4  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2016 kl. 13:28
from what I can see in the code they should work in space no matter what.

But Planets I have yet to test but I am pretty sure they would work as well.
jord 16. apr. 2016 kl. 2:10
And is this only for athomic sphere range or also in space? (would be amazing if it also works in space) =D
