I know this is years old, but does anybody know if there's a way to make the static not transparent, like when you switch cameras in-game?

i think it's broken, i had made progress with an animation and now on the shots where there's static it crashes.

Actually yeah, you can lower the intensity. Just click the color bar and drag the opacity meter.
