Hawken some of the map textures are within the actual addon directory, extract the gma and look otherwise u may need to extract the textures from the compiled map first

when I am compiling a map it justs stops to where its not responding anymore. Im thinking its because I dont have the map textures. How do I get map textures in hammer? Im editing rp_venator_tr

Perhaps if you need some Ideas heres some ideas for updating this awesome map:Adding Turrets that are controllable for space battles such as using the star wars space ship addons. changing the alarm to the one like this one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioC6rBrKDlw and maybe you could add some light into the ship its a little dark in the hangar. and maybe you could add escape pods? for escape pod drills.

could someone do a harrower-Class dreadnought map? their is plenty of examples of the ships interior from SWTOR and they seem to have largely chstomized interiors, the only parts of the ship that always stay the same is the bridge and hangers. so it would leave alot of creative freedom and their are plenty of examples of the interiors to take inspiration from.

We were using all of the venator maps in my community when we came across an odd sound error, where the hangar plays loud island sounds ( seagulls, water, etc. ) and other parts play loud old hl2 sounds. We checked and seemingly it is on every version of the venator from v1 to this, since this is the one we use primarily, we were hoping you might know a resolution.

So im going to edit the map for my community. I have the skills to do basic rooms and such. Now all i need to do is acutally get the ship into hammer and well I cant exactly figure that out. Do i have to hand create the ship or is there a file i can open up in hammer with the ship there?

@Poke ok so i found out what was wrong, and i should have explained this earlier.
i found out the reason for the mess isthat my hammer's 3d view was set to wireframe however when i set it to 3d textured everything was white. so then i found out that i need the textures for the map in order to be able to see anything. so my question now is, can you give me the textures?

@Spacemunki, it takes a lot of skills to navigate and edit the map. So if you find yourself lost and thinking it's a big mess, then I would say that you should not edit the map. You can go to my website and fill out the contact form, and we can do it for you!

The map already has buttons to turn the alarm on, turn the lights off, turn the red lights on, so could you update it and do more stuff like that?
