I recommend looking for the modding pdf online. It's a good place to start. In addition, try copying a unit the mod editor and try to duplicate everything it has (building links, race links, unit sets, ect) and then you can play around with it from there.

No problem. Though it kind of makes the obelisk of benediction useless if you're playing an evil character. Not that that's a bad thing,just kinda a "Well shit" moment. Lol

I actually managed to get this question answered in game. The answer is yes,but they'll still be devoted to good of course. Next thing I'll test is if I can change their alignment through the use of embrace darkness,so I'll keep you posted on that one.

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. At one point they had a hidden value which prevented them from healing which I had to fix. Another oversight could exist.

Question that is in all honestly probably a very stupid one.
I'm a necromancer. Can I turn these Archons into ghouls/undead when I run into them in the field? (I found a group of archon legionaries with a few guys)

I think I found a bug. I noticed it on the Archon Legionary, it does not regenerate health each day even though it doesn't have the "Cannot Regenerate" trait. I checked when using only this mod, same thing happened.

1. Turns out my archer description is indecipherable rubbish so I rewrote it

It's yours! And I can't say I remember anymore haha. I only played a tiny bit of 2 so this is mostly based on number 1 so I imagine it was either a mistake or I was much smarter and cleverer in the past.

I only played Age of Wonders 1, but there the Avenger had every conceivable movement trait. Did it change in 2 or did you remove some on purpose? Anyway, thanks for your work!

You can build either, but they are mutually exclusive. At the start you either build a Sigil of Awakening or a Sigil of Return. Sigil of return is good path, sigil of Awakening is evil path

I used the Ker as a subsitute for the Valkyrie from the first game. The angel thing with the flaming sword is the Astra.

Also as a side note "Ker" came during the shadow magic expansion of 2 if im not mistaken so that would be the ideal removal unit to swap for the Avenger.

And I like your adjacency bonus concept. I think yours might be a little to strong, but something like it would be cool. The problem is when I first started out modding I really wanted to make something like that and I failed time and time again and gave up. I could probably do it now though, or at least give it another try. But they are already so strong I'll have to be very careful.

...But now that you mention it I miss her as well. Of course if I add her the Archon dwelling has more units than other any dwelling by a long shot and most are flying. Maybe an either or branch? Hmmm

Side note here, the Legionary could be a tad better in the transition to mid game with an ability that gives them a 10% Physical resistance for each ally within one hex of them. Kinda makes them more of a testudo like wall. which is what I think was the goal with their design. This also eases the transition into mid game making them slightly better without breaking them. Again love the whole Archon redux. PS think well be seeing the Avenger? MISS the HELL out of that flying woman. Again thanks for what you have so far love it...

Yay! Updated finally!! Only a month and a half later. This one's a bit wierd, but it's growing on me. (Until I can figure out how to shove a pegasus into the game).

I have a problem with my mods currently in that I can't update them, whenever I try I just create a new mod on steam. So no updates until I figure out what is going on. Sorry :/

I think it use ethernal lord because there is some tigrain model in it like the shield also is it possible to make it into a full race??
