if you are interested in updating it with other ships, you can make several newgame files and just number them, i.e: newgame2, newgame3, etc... then just make the title or description reflect which ship you start with...

glad you did this, as it is providing me with quite a learning experience... now to start playing with ship configs, lol..

I figured it out... I had a backup copy of your mod in the mods folder, so it was overriding what I was doing, lol...

I made a save game and money cheat to go get the ship, then saved once I got it, and copied the entire (ship) section with all the hull, battery, and enhancement info and pasted it into yours to try to set it and couldn't seem to get it to go.. but I'll take a look into it again and see if I might have missed something.. is it possible I have to do it to both this and the Trading Adjustments mod both?

Yeah, ship section should be all you need to change. I think it might have problems if the weapon sections aren't setup correctly though, can't remember.

@camus any possibility of showing where in the file to change the starting ship? I tried changing the whole Ship section, but that hasn't worked, and also made sure to add in the missing ship file in the model folder for the one I want to use.. just can't seem to figure it out.. thx

Yes, this works with any version. If I get a chance I might post how to edit the file so that you start with a Maur.

Can you make one of these for The Maur please? Oh and will this work for any version of Trading Adjustments?
