PS . relicnews forums banned me and another skinner since it was us or them , I never get rid of that shame , but I won't make such mistakes , it's sad though that relic news forums are a silent graveyard.......
@Bagarre, c'est bien légitim call of duty , coh etc must make us better , if we like something like ww2 games we must not stay on the games but we must the true history behind these.
Thank you both for your coments.
"The Panzerarmee Afrika captured Tobruk ten days later but the delay imposed on the Axis offensive by the defence of the fortress, influenced the cancellation of Operation Herkules, the plan for an Axis invasion of Malta. Rommel continued to advance and invaded Egypt, slowed by British delaying actions until the First Battle of El Alamein in July where the Axis advance was stopped; both sides used the battle for propaganda, Winston Churchill renaming the Free French as the Fighting French and Hitler called the French the second best fighters after the Germans."
Yet another armchair general without any proper knowledge of warfare except Call of Duty.
they are no winner in an war (that USA and else didnt have understand yet)
look at us today, we are best friend with our old rival germany. we have learn that war didnt make anything good. they always have an alternative to the fight better for both parts.
yeah, we prefer make love than war
60 vs 2000
j'aimerai bien voir 60 G.I. 'mericain (ou autres) contre 2000 mexicos, voir si ils tiendraient plus d'un jour sans soutien.
'fin bref, y a la guerre la vraie, et CSGo...
In 1940 Charles de Gaulle Brigade resist in France and it will turn the German offencive if the general staff did not make many mistakes .
Do not criticise the history of the people either side you are looking at .
Thanks.
The French military as a whole, from the lowest private to the highest general, simply did not have the will to fight. After WW1, they couldn't bear the thought of having to fight again, and broke and ran once things got tough. The vast majority of them surrendered the first chance they got, and some of the ones that the British pulled out at Dunkirk requested to be sent back so they could surrender rather than fight.
The Free French made no major contribution to the war.
Napo - Rhino thank you both.
