Loading is fastest with an 8Gb Ram drive. I use lots of mods, haven't counted but my load times iare <1min by putting %/Appdata/roaming/space engineers folder on the Ram drive. You somply have to change the drive letter in your properties for the game. Before you run Steam simply copy the folder to your Ram drive. I set-upa macro for each games shortcut that copies the folder. When I switch games I simply move the folder from the Ramdrive back to my system drive. This enables your Ram drive to be used for multiple programs. I recommend 32Gb of 2400Mhz DDR3 or 3000Mhz DDR4 Ram as a minimum depending on AMD or Intel CPU respectively.

On the topic of loading times, RAM won't do much. The best thing to bring down your loading times is an SSD. Mine loads my planet world with 30-40 mods in ~5 minutes, sometimes less. Definitely a worthwhile investment to make.

Now with Helecopter blades and a vtol fan version of the Halo copter wings.

yeah. Not sure why it takes some mods so much longer to load under DX11. But Ram is definately needed.

It takes so long by default? O.o Oh, gonna try to load that over night ':D Maybe I dont have enough RAM :P

Not really sure, it takes about 30 mins for most of my DX11 worlds to load. Just added another 16gb of ram, and it now takes about 20 mins.

Due to the large number of mods, it used to take about 10 to 15 in DX9, but since the DX 11 update, it takes even longer. No idea why.

is it Windows 10? or something wrong with my gamefiles? :/ Meh, gonna write to Keen about it
