I like the idea but I find more, worth while, to just hijak ships and sell them.

if installing this mid game it seems your game remembers previously visited price BEFORE install of this mod, which skews the bestbuy/bestsell UI. Solution seems to be to repay a visit to previous stations so as to update those

It's possible, but I don't know if it's worth it is since Warlords was officially released recently.

Hey Camus, any chance you could alter the amount of commodities that are stocked in each station? Like Birdy said already. Would make it possible to load up more on a couple of items for a trade run rather than buying out all of the stations inventory in large freighters!
camus  [ophavsmand] 8. apr. 2016 kl. 8:48
Nope, stock values are the same.
Artanis 8. apr. 2016 kl. 5:23
Does this also increase the stock quantity of commodoties on stations? Kind of sucks buying to buy only 150 or so when having a 700+ cargo. :D

I see. Thx.

If you level too fast the game could become harder because of scaled enemies. In freeroam it's not a big deal, but it might make the campaign too difficult.

Hello, I'm new to the game and so far, I am super duper enjoying it. I wanted to trade from the start and learned that it sux rather quickly. However, capturing ships got boring super fast. I saw this mod and was like neat! But, ppl are saying it doesn't do well with the xp gain (or something like that, remember, new to the game). Should I get the mod if I'm new or will I ruin my experience w/the game? I guess I don't understand the problem with money being tied to xp gain. What happens when I lvl too fast? Also, love ur name. Camus is my favorite philosopher. :steamhappy:

It's an unfortunate side effect, but I think it evens out compared to boarding ships after around level 30.

I just ran into MrAsterB's issue unforuntely. I have been going along my current game at a good pace doing capturing and was level 15 with a Freighter and a Frigate and 10mil in the bank saving up for my next ship. I then decided for the first time since playing I wanted to mine this play session. I made one trip in the Sea of Sorrows selling about 50 shards, and a few hundred each of titanium and gold and gained 5 levels! I am now level 20 :(. I wont be mining again as the XP gain is WAY to high for the money I received(which was about 3mil).

I will wait till max level and I do not care about xp anymore before I mine again. This game irritates me that they did not make it feasable to do anything other than capturing ships.
MaGicBush 25. jan. 2016 kl. 18:22
Thanks a great mod that was sorely needed(to bad devs didn't fix this to begin with)!
camus  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2016 kl. 14:49
Yes, it should increase the value of everything.
MaGicBush 25. jan. 2016 kl. 13:22
Does this mod adjust ore prices as well to help mining?
MrAsterB 22. nov. 2015 kl. 9:09
Ah, i see. Oh well, gonna use your mod when i'm not gonna care about xp then xD Still useful and great, thanks :)
camus  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2015 kl. 8:36
I tried looking into the xp gain a long time ago but couldn't find anyway to adjust it unfortunately.
MrAsterB 20. nov. 2015 kl. 18:27
Hi! I thought it was ideal mod when i saw those prices.. Although after a while i figured that we gain xp when we trade or sell goods so basically it makes this mod moot.. Can you make a mod to disable that xp gain perhaps? That'd be the best :) Sorry if i'm asking too much, i don't really code so no idea how much work it'll take.
camus  [ophavsmand] 13. nov. 2015 kl. 15:30
Just updated the mod description to include DLC specific versions. There were issues I wasn't aware of before, mostly with the Origins DLC, that caused problems with the map data.
camus  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2015 kl. 21:31
A Titans DLC compatible version of the mod is now available for anyone interested: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=550952958
camus  [ophavsmand] 24. okt. 2015 kl. 8:10
I don't think it'll work with those mods because this one already changes cargo space for a few ships.
Raynor 23. okt. 2015 kl. 18:54
Will this work with Double Cargo And Speed Mod or Balanced Cargo?
camus  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2015 kl. 13:11
Good catch, I just created a new topic on the bugs forum about this issue so hopefully that will help.
DAN-di-WARhol 7. okt. 2015 kl. 9:21
can anyone mod the broken trade at felicia. I can repeatedly dock, buy, dock, sell and earn millions within minutes. This ruins the entire trading aspect of the game. Very Poor.
Jaoso 4. okt. 2015 kl. 11:02
Reinstalled everything and it seems to work now. Guess something broke since last i played it ways back
camus  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2015 kl. 11:21
Should work with or without dlc, campaign and freeroam. Have you checked under the mod list to see that it's enabled? By default you have to manually install it from the mod menu as well as clicking a checkbox on the right side to enable it.
Jaoso 3. okt. 2015 kl. 10:09
How do you make it work? I dont see ANY changes in campaign with or without dlc. Is it freeroam only?
cswiger 1. okt. 2015 kl. 20:36
Good job! Flying around and fighting red ships with the Taurus until your hull is full used to net ~30K - 50K, now it's at least double that, and sometimes quite a bit more (~200K once).
Tanvaras 17. sep. 2015 kl. 18:14
Nice work, I am sure quite a few will jump on this mod. Many like to play the game as a trader, especially in freeroam which I see you have catered for as well :)
NIKOLA✽ ✾ 15. sep. 2015 kl. 10:28
but the mod will work
camus  [ophavsmand] 15. sep. 2015 kl. 9:04
You should probably ask in the general discussions forum for help with that.
NIKOLA✽ ✾ 15. sep. 2015 kl. 8:54
you help me how to optimize this game under Windows 7
that was flowing?
camus  [ophavsmand] 15. sep. 2015 kl. 8:45
@coragen:

I see what you're saying so I will make another mod dependant on this one for the freeroam option.

HI wersion gane 1600 V ?
ScorpioDog 15. sep. 2015 kl. 1:48
Who, besides mod developers, will remember to rename a file inside of a mod's folder to enable an option? Consider us non-mod developers, and consider the passage of time and replayability a year - two years from now. Either find a creative way to throw in a subroutine for the option of starting with a Prospero, or post another mod to enable it with the requirement of having this mod already installed. Sorry. It's a bit of a pet peeve.

I intend this comment as constructive criticism, and not as a flaming because I am a subscriber, and I am giving a thumbs-up.
Nokta 20. aug. 2015 kl. 15:14
I've been waiting for LGM to fix the trade since the release. Sadly it never happened.
This might bring me back into the game. I'll definitely try it.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.
camus  [ophavsmand] 20. aug. 2015 kl. 10:34
Only a few ships have more cargo space.
g.janssen18 20. aug. 2015 kl. 7:13
I dit not see anny change in ship cargo space .
