Otherwise, nice mod.

I'm sure this might just be the nature of the content, but just checking ...
I wanted to get your permission to include your mod in our server's modpack.
I dont like half the stuff you publish (but recognize why it would be useful to others). But a solid half of what you publish I utterly love.
Thanks for the work.
Here. Check...I
the checkbox.
Should be straight-up~ish from my arrow.
It may NOT be a problem with this mod. You maybe possess a mod that removes glass tints. Deactivate that at the in-game mods list and check if you have the tints back. :)

Also, since the block updates the 1x1 variants you have which were vanilla blocks (flat, slope, inverted, side) don't get the blue hue on the outisde so I had to replace those with the updated vanilla models. Sadly I couldn't do that for the small block variants as they don't exist in vanilla to copy over.
If you can come up with some reproducible problem, take it into a singleplayer world and try to reproduce it without my mod installed.
I looked at your image, nothing seems off with it. Maybe that you fly/are too close because the game doesn't place ships or ship parts over players.

* Side windows that slope (the in game name is listed as windows 1x1 Face)
* 1x2 variations
He's named all versions of a type the same accordingly I.E. A 1x1x1 flat of glasshas the same name no matter how it's metal edges are arranged. This is done with every piece of glass accordingly if it's a square or triangle or whatever glass shapes he has added.
Is there any progress here ? Really enjoying your mod but really miss not having the face and 1x2 block :/
Best
