Our definition of piracy are far apart, Pirate ships i modify are Widened chassis of other ships that are tacked together with some truss and stuff like that to make it look like it was scrounged out of a scrapyard :D

As for piracy, as long as you are not planning on uploading to workshop as your own, go right ahead, they're made for people to use! I was thinking about doing something like that anyway for an opposing fleet. I used SEToolbox to change the blue to dark red and the light grey to very dark grey. Looks pretty good, but might need some polishing. If you manage to successfully convert one, please post a screenshot if you can!
