@Derp Gas I say do research on the more popular workshop ships, recognizable sci-fi ships, and *real* wet-navy combat vessels. As 5URG3 said, hopefully you find a good balance of aesthetics and utility.
I do agree with Agnar- stock missile turrets can turn on you during high-speed attacks. I personally might swap those out for OKIM guns since those don't run the risk of self-detonation.
@5URG3 Funnily enough your Wolfhound design reminds me a lot of my own battleship design- except it doesn't have a glaringly obvious "Shoot Me Here" bridge and isn't 40 tons at 320+ meters. :P
