Valve, if you are going to add this (of course your not) and reading this comment (of course your not) do not let this thing headshot, explode, or combust in anyway.

Couple things: 1) It looks way too much like the flare gun already in game. 2) I know it is tf2 and everything is out of proportion already, but this thing is way too comically large. No shotgun shell is remotely that big or short even. 3) It reminds me a lot of the noisy cricket from MIB.

I think it should be the pyros first hitscan flaregun.

Why is it not for the pyro?

I like it but I have a few problems with it.

Firstly, it has a very close resemblance to the flare gun. If it were to keep this resemblance I would think it would work better as a pyro shotgun, but if it was not simlar to the flare gun in looks then I could see it as a scout secondary.

Secondly, it has sort of been done before. the shortstop is very similar but just does not have the damage avtantage and has more shots. bringing the "handcannon" into the game as a scout weapon would fell repetitive.

Lastly the pyro as of current only has two shotguns, the default and the reserve shooter. with the current look of the weapon and the lack of non-flare pyro secondarys i would rather have this be a weapon for the pyro and not the scout.

anyways ive spent way to much time reveiwing something that may never matter.
