on this chapter probly more never tryed but it keeps crashing when i click on it

@dstrong08 this happened to me too but the npcs in this mod have entries that bmce edits so its not recommended to play these maps with bmce because this mod adds the bmce characters to the maps even if you dont have it installed

For some reason the models appear weird, some of the office workers are now just regular scientists, and even some of the office workers show up as cleansuits and maintenance workers

hell, there were even characters showing up with injured textures

For those having issues with the custom dialogue from NPCs; I found that the "Extended Captions and Dialogue" add on interferes with the custom scripts on this map and prevents them from playing. Removing it from the workshop folder solved the problem.

When I use the tram from anomalous materials to the office, I get stuck in the tram. The controls don't work anymore and reset them to default does nothing. Noclip doesn't work either, I get stuck in the same point. But loading the map from the game menu or the console is fine.

The NPCs' ties are buggy for me, is there any way to solve it?

The NPCs aren't talking. There must be a problem with whatever scripts are responsible for the dialogue.

Are there a chance to keep the hazard suit outside PD Anomalous Materials level and collect weapons during my way? Exit from PD Anomalous Materials to PD Office Complex simply end the level. And I must start PD Office Complex as new game with nothing.

Elevator works fine. But "pushing" the button doesn't. The label on bottom right say that "L" is the launch button, but it have no effect. At least in my system. For me LMB was the correct one. It is quite educating to ride this elevator because it help to build the actual 3D map of whole underground complex in your head :) Hard to do that from sorry state of BM complex after resonance cascade.

the area where we abandon the squad in Office Complex due to collapsed elevator, above us where vortigaunts spawned, can you please make that area accessible and expand it

it doesnt work for me (that mini tutorial of changing models i typed "models/humans/guard_xend.mdl" to test and the guard was in the human blood or clean, same with scientist when i tried to make him engineer [i forgot that i dont know whats the name of engineer model)

Noted. I'm currently performing comprehensive fixes to all of the Pre-Disaster maps and will be updating them all at once; I'll try to repeat this and find a fix.

also i'm having a weird problem in c1a2c: i think something's wrong with the vending machine near the main tram station, the one with the maintenance guy. I once approached the vending machine and it shook violently and killed me along with the guard. When i tried to access the map again, it played normally, until suddenly the screen shook, then the game crashed with an "engine error" but idk if it's this mod's fault, as QE's tram station is also crashing. THis problem also appears to only be with this map, as c1a2a and c1a2b work just fine.

you can also add a blue repairman either from the blue shift or from the BMCE:R Addon H.E.C.U. Realism Expanded it's there

I've been meaning to make another update / revisit to these maps for a while now, to fix some lingering issues- I was going to see if there were any new BMCE models that might be of use at that time.

is it possible to have a map variant after post disaster for compatibility with BMCE - Black Mesa Character Expansion and BMCE Addon - Black Mesa Character Expansion Revised as well as an updated map variant before the disaster with a new mesa npc?

I got it to work by modifying their default idle conversations with an additional condition that was checked to NOT be true. Giving the scientists that condition, and specific other conditions in their entity data, can make them give any custom dialogue options.

This is really good, i enjoy your pre-disaster maps and i'm just wondering how you got the scientists to have custom questions, what do you have to do to the talker script to do that? I'm doing a project and would like to have the security guards have different dialogue for being idle, in combat, death etc, any help would be much appreciated.:steamthumbsup::smile:
