The canonical Meetra Surik look was already in the game.

@Unwieldy Bob: My kids can play with your kids.

In this house, Space Jesus is the canonical Exile and he's a damn hero of the republic, end of story.
Razzberry Frootcake 2 maj @ 11:43
Description of her from the Revan book by Drew Karpyshyn: “Meetra had short brown hair, pale white skin, and piercing blue eyes. (…) She was clad in the simple robes of a Jedi Master, but somehow she managed to make even the drab brown cloth seem stylish.”

:D It's rather well known that she had brown hair before her appearance in SWTOR.

If you don't want to use this mod, don't. You're not required to use it just because it says the word "canonical", especially not if you prefer the blonde version of the character.

fuck swtor she has brown hair

The canon character has white hair. :D It's rather well known.
masttyler58 25 dec, 2024 @ 14:47
Its not changing anything. Why isn't it working?
Iamraven 19 maj, 2023 @ 20:14
No blue eyes. For me they're showing up grey.
thorvindr 10 apr, 2023 @ 9:26
@KnightOfAcedia:

RIGHT!? I always played KOTOR as a woman and KOTOR 2 as a man. Not sure why, but I also always chose "Jesus." Probably because I'm a regular-looking white guy and so is he.
joshuwey 18 mar, 2023 @ 20:40
she has white hair
Knight Of Acedia 6 nov, 2022 @ 15:08
you mean kotor 2 jesus isn't canonical? my whole damn life is a sham
ParadigmShift 18 jul, 2022 @ 9:59
To explain why this doesn't match Surik's canonical modern appearance...

This was based entirely off of older material, and was released in 2012. This was released long before she had a definite appearance in The Old Republic.
Hawkdriver 12 jun, 2022 @ 20:49
hair changes back to blond when i shift to dark side on my file.
carbongoes 23 apr, 2022 @ 13:26

Rikimaru 28 sep, 2021 @ 11:30
Hey thanks for this mod. I used it for quite a while but I kept seeing the makeover she's had since then and I like the white hair-updo. I just prefer how it looks.
Bright Storm ⚡️⚡ 27 sep, 2021 @ 12:47
errmm what, we'v seen how she looks is swtor and she's ain't brown haired
SquidMann 12 sep, 2021 @ 6:29
For anyone wondering, the artwork comes from the 2009 SW Encyclopedia.

The override files for the Canonical Exile mod can be found in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\486299564/override. Moving them to the TSLRCM override folder worked for me.
NOTE: if you only have the TSLRCM mod installed (not TSLRCM + M4-78EP) the TSLRCM folder is 485537937, not 1402798020.
Rhysins 10 aug, 2021 @ 16:29
So I have the TSLRCM + M4-78EP Mods installed. Which place would I need to move this mod over to so I can get the file working in game and not just as the portrait of the character? I'll have to uninstall this mod until someone can help answer this.
starkiller1975 25 jul, 2021 @ 22:36
where is the TSLRCM file located? i have no clue atall and it would explain why none of the female mods i get aint working atall
Zorgbert 8 mar, 2021 @ 2:44
@bobbydinner had the same problem still blonde after moving files to tslrcm+ folder. I seem to have fixed it after unsubbing and resubbing to this mod so the files are in both folders. I'm doing it on a new game however.
Keiawyn 26 feb, 2021 @ 8:53
@bobbydinner Do you have TSLRCM installed? If so, see the previous comments. If not, I'm sorry I don't know . . .
bobbydinner 23 feb, 2021 @ 12:18
So I loaded up my 6 hour save and suddenly my Exile is blonde again. Any clue as to why the mod just went away? My portrait is still the modded version.

Aarow 1 dec, 2020 @ 20:28
@audleyszeppelin There is one on Nexus Mods. I used it.
Martes🃏 17 sep, 2020 @ 20:02
does not work
Keiawyn 16 maj, 2020 @ 11:03
ob2lander961's solution worked for me! However, I had to do a bit more digging.
The override files for the Canonical Exile mod can be found in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\486299564/override. Moving them to the TSLRCM override folder worked for me.

My skin seemed to revert back to the regular "light brown' hair model after speaking with Kreia on the Ebon Hawk for the first time after departing Peragus. I can't seem to get it to revert back..
audleyszeppelin 2 feb, 2020 @ 15:49
Has anyone made a canonical skin for Revan in KOTOR 1 that can be downloaded from this forum as well?
ob2lander961 30 dec, 2019 @ 16:16
It took a while (especially after going through pages of people complaining about whether a certain hair color or gender is canon or not) if your character is still blonde and you have TSLRCM installed move the override files from this mod and move them to the TSLRCM override folder.

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1402798020\override
ed asner 29 dec, 2019 @ 13:46
Interestingly the newest film does reference Revan, though only in the fact that something is named after them.
ChrisRevocateur 24 nov, 2019 @ 7:54
@Zumapwn be 21 now
That's not how canon works for Star Wars. Revan wasn't used in that Clone Wars episode, and the only part of KotOR that has been mentioned in official media is "The Manalorian Wars." That means that the Mandalorian Wars are canon, that they happened. How they happened, when they happened, who was involed, and what actually happened in them has not been stated.

You can't take mentions of something and extract that to mean everything that thing is tangetially related to is somehow canon, and no matter how far something gets in production, if it isn't actually released, it doesn't count.
juice 28 okt, 2019 @ 9:11
Doesn't work for me, portrait shows up as brown but she remains blonde even in a new game.
Besper 6 okt, 2019 @ 9:18
Everytime I load a save, she turns blonde

Is there a fix for that?
Tostjerne 21 maj, 2019 @ 13:07
kotor 2 wasn't based on any book the revan book came out long after kotor 2
a100167 25 feb, 2019 @ 15:17
@ReadRothbard

:(
ReadRothbard 28 jan, 2019 @ 21:45
Ironically, now nothing is canon.
N1ckTheGeek 28 jan, 2019 @ 18:43
Lol at all the people who don't understand what canon (not cannon) is. You don't have to pay any attention to it if you don't want, it simply means that in the official story, the exile is a light-side female named Meetra Surik. You can still play the game with whatever character you want. That said, you don't have to agree with it, but the fact remains. Also, like it or not, The Old Republic DOES tie in to KotoR and KotoR II.
Boaboa 22 dec, 2018 @ 2:32
Surik, not Siri.
rclink15fas 3 dec, 2018 @ 19:58
in the book this game was based on revan is male and the main character, Meetra Siri was female.
Loyalist77 23 okt, 2018 @ 17:21
Who can tell me the canon history from the Earth 4000 years ago? Of the galaxy 4000 years ago? It was always an awesome legend before Disney. Let people enjoy playing with this face without feeling the need to shut them down over canon.
King Maelstrom the Esoteric 23 okt, 2018 @ 14:30
This is wrong. Nothing is canonical anymore. Thanks, Disney.
Mr. Punic 6 okt, 2018 @ 4:39
"This mod was made based on the information of Wookieepedia.

Read that my guy.
Whatever 7 sep, 2018 @ 8:47
Erm, this is wrong. She is canonically blonde, as seen in SW:TOR.
Kung Fu PANDA 6 jul, 2018 @ 8:24
So in order to have no corruption on the character mod, I have to change the appearance.2da file you reskinned a default file, right? That means I have to extract it and replace the DS face files with the LS face.
Kung Fu PANDA 4 jul, 2018 @ 14:54
Anyway I could get this w/out a darkside skin?
IndigoSolace 21 apr, 2018 @ 15:57
Interesting bug: selling any piece of gear you have equipped makes the hair blonde again.
