BioMech stopped modding SE a long time ago for those not in the know. He opened all his mods for anyone who wished to work from them just asked that people give credit to him for his originals. Many of his mods have been re-posted in a sort of Caretaker format by SEModder4

There isn't going to be any updates from Darth Biomech on this mod or any of their others, but I am actually in the middle of preparing several more mods for release myself, one of which is going to be a fresh-model version of this and a few other jump-drive variants. Should help anybody who's wanting this updated.

0.1% is easily enough to get out 140 kilometers. This mod is pretty good as long as you know math and how to interact with the UI.

Also I have tested it and it works so I don't know what you all are complaining about.

Yes it is old but as with any older mods first test them and see if they work before complaining that they need updating, as chances are that they still work just fine

In my experience, it was around 18 minutes, but I could be off by a bit. The advantage is that its mass/efficiency curve is larger, meaning that the same amount of charge in this drive will get you much further than the same amount of charge spread throughout several standard drives. It's much better than the massive array of drives you'd need to move a capital ship, but incredibly impractical for a small vessel.

if the jump energy is 30MW and the charge energy is 120MWh isn't it simply 120/30=4
1 hour/ 4 = 15 minutes charge time, not ~20?

Just tested and it works perfectly. Takes 18 minutes to fully charge, and that didn't seem to depend on how much power I had outputting from reactors. I had over 10 GW of power production on my ship and it didn't change the charge speed from when I had 500KW power. In the menu, it first looks like it can only go 5km. But once it's fully charged, it lists the full max range of 512,000km.

This still works fine. just tried it and like Midnite pointed out, with two drives you instantly travel over 1 million KM and it does change to a light second measurement. Badass.
