Can i use this mode without synergies? Only with Essentials+ additional classes?

Update this for the Variant Class Mod but I'd really like to see The general passives+Additional classes+Addon TO additional classes+Variant as an ALL IN ONE so we can save on mod slots. Even throw in the WoW Collection for this. It ALL needs to be combined into one for mod slot saving purposes

Are you able to update your mod to include the Variant classes mod classes? that would be awesome! I really enjoy their classes but I enjoy general passives more. Would be nice to have the best of both!

Put the mod at the top, it works for Necros.

I don't have it working for Necromancer, but it works for everyone else

I used general passives mod description to learn the process. It does require a lot. Hard to explain all of it. To be honest I would need to refresh my memory as well. But, if you understand the basics message me on steam. About where you are having issues and i will see what i can remember.

Do you any experience using GUTS to make a class? Best to way to begin and make class to understand how skills are made and how ui works. From their it isn't too hard. Understand Guts can be frustrating at times as well. You will also need source files as when you unpack a resource in guts to doesn't always do it right. Then the skills need manually fixed. My post on nexus has source files to download their.

Hey Draco normally i'd send a personal msg, was wondering if you could send me a more detailed instruction on how to add a custom char to general passives. Followed instructions given but I'm missing details/steps.

Only getting 3 out of 5 of the tier bonuses, is this due to using torchlight essentials?

Ah I died in like 3 hits to a boss ( orange bar not purple) that looked similar to the big puppet of cackle witch in the last area right before getting to the end of it to reach the siege guardiand and end act 2.

Well is Plague Lord. I love that aoe scythe attack that uses my hp instead of mana per cast. Level 25 on EHC. Got at the begining of act 2.

k, need some information what class is your character? What level and area are they in game? Also, not sure if it is related but their is a report of a patch made below maybe it will help until I can get it fixed.

Well aside from that very old update that only addded some language support, nothing else at least gameplay related changed as far as I know.

That is odd it would just happen. I played alot and never had those issues. Did they update the game?

Can't equip armor either by right click or remove it unless i manually drag it.

Cool, right now I'm using exactly the same mods in the example and I am having a blast.

I will consider it when i return to torchlight 2 but cant say when that will be.

If not possible I will just use the general passive for the vanila chars only or not at all but it sure makes the game more fun ^^

I see, one last thing. Can you make one version that works for both normal synergies and essentials(not the synergies compatible one) in the future ?.Anyway love your mods.

Ah thanks for the fast response, I do got one question. What is the difference between general passives of all and the general passives AG or something. Got no idea which one to actually use and I really want all tiers to work :D

Most likely not forever but on extended leave. To be honest not in torchlight 2 mode / mood right now.

Are you forever done with modding ? I have no idea how to make tier 4 and 5 to work :(

I had recently been using General Passives along with Torchlight Essentials and the Synergies mod and was getting the same error as a user reported in the Torchlight Essentials comment section.

Lone Wolf McQuade responded with: "@BlackList9, the problem is caused by General Passives. I made a compatible version a while back for someone else, you can download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-Z-5r_UQdzjTE5jeDJadk54eWM/view

Put that in your mod folder and the problem should be fixed."

Using that .MOD file, for whatever reason, fixed the error I was having.

I'll double check once more later and swap my load order around to see if anything changes, but as of right now using the file Lone Wolf posted fixed my problem while using the normal General Passives did not. Regardless, thanks for looking at the issue. It's really appreciated.

I remember uploading a fix back when I was updating mod last. That was in July if it is a new issue let me know I will add to list for next time I am updating.

Draco, did you ever manage to fix the incompatibility between the Torchlight 2 Essentials mod and this that Lone Wolf uploaded a file for? I would love to see it incorporated into here along with all of the newest updates.
