Yea same here all I get is big bullet holes and no blood but the mod does work some of the time and when it does the blood looks pretty good.

@a©eu : No, no workaround. As soon as the map needs to load more than 4Gb of textures at start, it crashes. Mods that have no LOD textures might make the things crash more, but you just cannot have everything HD or it will crash no matter what.

According to you, can't all 4K and HD Mods coexist? Besides unsubscribe, are there other solutions? Such as VRAM? I heard that the VRAM of the source engine is limited to 3.5GB. @a©eu : It's the size of all textures combined that must load when a map loads. i.e. all the textures of loaded objects on a map. If you get CTD crashes, unsubscribe from mods that take a a lot of space and that are not map mods (i.e. 4K / HD textures mods, 4K guns, and big RNG mods).

I have a question. You said have more than 4Gb of textures that load at map start. What is the concept of "4GB"? It refers to the total size of all MODs, or the size of RAM, because the CTD problem is very common and has been bothering me. I hope to get some help and solutions.

I found the error message that still exists in the console:
No such variable "$thousand " for material "decals/blood6"
Error: Material "decals/blood6" : proxy "LessOrEqual" unable to initialize!

@lssjmartin : Maybe try to 2K Version if it crashes too much. If you have more than 4Gb of textures that load at map start (lot of RNG mods / lots of 4K and HD guns etc.), it will CTD.

Same here, whenever a level loads it just crashes. Been happening since the last stand update so I guess the update is the culprit.

@marck97 : If this is when a Hunter goes on a survivor, this has nothing to do with it. But if you have a low-end PC, this can, indeed, sometimes, cause crashes because it's very HD.

Blood doesnt appear. A bunch of glass / bullet hole decals just appear.

@Queen : It got updated during the night and I fixed another error flagging problem. Also, I removed some of the bigger blood stains that are unrealistic and replaced them with the 2 ones that I did 5 years ago and that could not be activated.
Also also I removed completely the stains decals on the survivors that never worked properly.

Last night when I shot the common infected, the blood on their body was black texture and kind of blurry. I can't describe it properly, but the mod did look broken for me. However the problem solved after I resubscribed. Thanks for checking for it. Love your mod!
