Hint 1:
Did you notice you can go into the room with the vertical exit button using a reversed tractor beam?

Hint 2:
Do you know the island with the button that disables the fizzler next to it? If you can get there with a cube and a reversed tractor beam you will be able to leave that island with a backdoor portal behind the fizzler and with the cube as well.

Hint 3:
You can jump the gap from the room with the tractor beam to the room with the laser while keeping your backdoor portal into the room with the vertical exit button. Use the power of velocity!

I knew exactly what to do the entire time. I knew how to get one of the cubes back the entire time. I just stood in all the wrong places the entire time. This is a wonderful puzzle. Thank you very much for making it.

Probably the hardest and smartest solo test I've ever played, absolutely excellent

So cool and good. As someone said below I got really snagged on the grating pit beneath the big fizzler, when I solved it I could not figure out why it was there.

Awesome map! It combines so many enjoyable maneuvers, and the connection between them is nothing but hidden in plain sight, and it also provides a very "natural" flow. Great work. I needed a long time to see what I think is only a small, but also the best hidden move here: getting Frankie off the button from INSIDE the small fizzler room .

clever puzzle

Dear god. This one is REALLY hard. I bet that this is the hardest test chamber in community.
Every element of the test is used here twice or more. Those 12 hours was absolutely worth of 12 seconds of happiness.

When I used the hard light bridge to place reversed funnel in the room with the floor button I felt really good, but then I realized that I need to get right to the platform with the laser. I almost lost all hope, but realized, that I can use momentum Truly amazing experience. Brilliant map.

Nice puzzle. I spent most of my time not seeing the portal surface facing the button that disables the fizzler but when I noticed that, it all went smoothly. Nice hammer work also, big thumbs up

Excellent puzzle. Pure logic, no ninja skills required, just the way I like them. After reading the comments, I don't feel so bad about how long it took me to see "the trick". I could see the end moves early on, but getting there took much longer. Thanks!

This was frustrating for me. It is by far the hardest one I ever played, which is OK. But adding a misdirection (the crawl space under the fizzler, where I literally spent hours) was unnecessary IMO. Still a great puzzle, thanks for creating.

Wow. What a puzzle. Doing everything I could think of to move "forward" I Started thinking backward and saw the final moves pretty quickly: sucked out through ceiling, frankencube in funnel, fling to laser area, faith plate back w/ laser cube and funnel moves for frankencube for exit. But figuring out how to get both myself and portals in the right places to begin that sequence had me stumped for some time. I eventual notice 2 things that had slipped my attention earlier while trying everywhere that I could put forward and reverse funnels: 1) the funnel is accessible from the light bridge and 2) there was a portable surface next to the fizzler button from inside the fizzler area. Then things started coming together. I think my favorite part of the puzzle is that the light bridge first seems to be just for getting to the exit, but it really has a dual purpose and different cubes are used for each. Very cool!

That took me SEVERAL attempts. At first the map seemed piece of cake easy, all I needed to do was reverse the funnel.....and then I couldn't figure out any possible way to do that! I could work backwards and tell I was correct, but there were two GENIOUS moves movies I did not see for the longest time. I had to test everything I could possibly do with the orange funnel

That was really tough! I figured out that I must need to jump out of the light bridge into the orange funnel. But how to do that took me a long time. Once that was done, the rest was easy. You need not to keep the funnel after you come back. You can fly to the other side!

I played this puzzle for the first time earlier this year. Well, it’s still brilliant and one of the best I have ever played. I played a puzzle by @Innocentive’s called ’Modified Polarity by Ben77’, which is also excellent, uses your layout, but slightly modified and a quite different, but still clever, method of completing. It’s obviously a big nod to you and at least it prompted me to come back and play yours again, so I’m well happy.

I had to watch the playthru first. I don't see why you used the frankencube instead of a standard or companion cube.

I've played this test since this was published in 2015. And it's a kind of habit to play this. I've never seen any other puzzles whose logical mechanisms are superior to this. I sincerely give you honour.

Medium/hard!? How about extreme. Took me 4 days to solve. I kept coming back and chipping away and could never quite get there. Finally it all clicked in today. Definitely the hardest map I have ever solved and probably the most satisfying as well. Thanks for the challenge BEN77, but I hope this is the hardest you ever get.

Excellent puzzle. I don't now about "difficulty --- medium / hard"; I found it f***ing hard! I got 95% of the puzzle yesterday, but couldn't work out how to leave a portal in the exit button room and then get from the flip panel side to the faith plate side and still leave a portal in the exit button room and gave up. I managed the last 5% this morning. Thank you, I think;)

Very hard, i need some hours. Yesterday i try it at the first time, but then i make a brake for one day and today, i resolve this puzzle. But my brain smokes.

The only thing I found wrong with the chamber (and sorry to nit-pick) but the indicator panel on the exit was back to front. Other than that, great puzzle and I really enjoyed it / glad I worked it out :)

This is an insane map! It should probbably not even be legal and I am not sure I really like BEN 77. However, it was the most difficult map I have played and I finally made it today! :-) Well done BEN 77!

I sort of cheesed it. You can strafe to the ledge where you need to put the cube behind the grid by putting a portal above that and one on the white surface that turns around. If you do that strafe you can place a portal then on the ground where there are two surfaces on the ground and ceiling, put the cube close to that portal and go through it. Thus, you get to the tunnel and place your portal on it. The cube will go on it even though it's not directly in the portal and go up and all you have to do is then change your portal so it goes on the button.
