When subscribing to this workshop item, it places it inside the particles folder of the workshop folder, which can be found in the game folder of your Source Filmmaker. If you don't know where to find the game folder, go your Steam Library\steamapps\common\Source Filmmaker\game\workshop\particles.

I haven't messed with particles in a while so I forget but you have to instance the particle, and then edit the particle definition. In there, I think you can find some sort of Move modifier thing? just play with some of the numbers on it and you should be able to get it working

I'm a bit lazy and I don't know how to make the particles go sideways instead of straight up but here you go.

Just wanted to give you a huge thanks for this particle effect, with that I've made this:

I thought I had to photoshop out the effect from the original picture, but this particle saved me hours of work (and is also better looking in my opinion :p)
