Up is down on your thrusters. I have more than enough to push me up, but still, i go down.

The thrusters from the other pack (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=472087570) are NOT affected. They work perfectly.

Yeah probably the slowmode factor needs to be adjusted, I think.

But I'm pretty sure I set those to be the same as Keen's.

Nope, reverse vs forward is seeing a substantial difference in acceleration.

Confirmed, it is not a thrust issue. It only effects down thrusters (that I can tell), here is a video of my testing: https://youtu.be/jg1kTr-ijbo

Even while on the ground (wheels), with dampeners off, if I hit the up thrust it gets shoved into the ground . :( I have 6 double lengths lg on a 700k ship. Should be more than enough (I think).

I also have atmos on the same ship (turned off), I will try with those enabled, maybe some sort of math error because I have them? But I will experiment more in a few days when I get another change to play.

Your ship doesn't have enough engine power to lift up further than hover area,. But has enough to hover.
Weird I know but SE is weird sometimes.

Is there any reason thrust would be reversed? Like when you push up, it goes down... I am in atmo and am hovering fine... Thrust override does it as well... Happy to post a saved game.

Using the different thrusters on the same build is also the only time i have run into the bug of going down when pressing spacebar, but i havent isolated that yet- it may have been weight related.

On a related note, i can hover with only 10 flat new (nose down at ~200k kg) and i slow down from 100m/s in about 1/3 of the time it takes to accelerate to that speed at that weight - in space or atmo. You might need to dedicate a day or two looking at the code. Other than that- great mods!

I apologize for the vague numbers but i am not in game at the moment.

I have run into a problem where the long ramp and flat long thrusters refuse to play well with the flat new. I built a small grid salvage ship with with 22-ish flat new and about 10 of the long ramp as up thrust and it wouldn't lift off - weight ~37k kg. I added flat new and long ramps until i had over 45 up thrust engines of both types- still no lift. I removed the long ramps and now it lifts with just 30ish flat new thrusters. it will lift about 200k kg now. On another build the Flat long were also not playing well with the other types.

How are they in comparison to the Tiered Armored thruster pack? cause if i can get them to do a better job than that pack ill gladly swap over to these lol

could the armor thruster be made a little bit bigger like a 3x1 i wold love to use both the 2x1 and 3x1 armor thrusters i just cant find any out there this is the only one thats a true 2x1 thruster if you no what i mean if i had the skill or know how i would model it my self but i dont have the time or skill to do so

They are quite a bit better than vanilla, last I checked but who knows Keen could change the vanilla force magnitudes without saying. :)

Once Keen updates the stable branch with all the new features like the block grouping I will update them so they take up much less room in the g-menus. :D

Same with the azimuth complete mod pack, it looks phenomenal now that it isn't taking up a crap ton of space. :D

Well this issue I have only happens on planets. Moons no matter the size there is zero issue, lift is exactly how it should be.

I checked the code and indeed they should be working everywhere- i.e planets and space, well at least what the code says but in-game could be a different story. :D

Try the Azimuth Complete Mod Pack, they have plenty of small ship thrusters that are smaller than these ones with many different colored flames. :D

That is strange, but then again everything about SE is "strange" lol

Large ships have always had trouble with taking off and staying off the ground, but to be perfectly sure I will check the thrusters code to see if they work everywhere on planets and in space. :D

Is anyone having issues with the large thruster trying to take off from planets?

Strange thing is:

Down (C key) = Ship goes Down
Up (spacebar) = Ship goes Down
Forward thrust is ok but only if you keep to the horizon. If you pitch up too much the ship goes down.

However doing nothing it hovers fine.

This only happens once landed.

Small ships are perfectly fine.

@SEModder4. First, awesome work. I know you have heard it before but I didn't say it :D
Second, I think there might be something off with the thruster ramp. If damages my hull, perhaps the flame damage is offset?
