Would you mind adding a customizable recipe? This sword doesn't seem to be able to compete with Wigfrid's spear but costs just so much more than her spear. We tend to always have Wigfrid in party, so I was just thinking if you maybe could make an alternative version?

Something along the lines of, say 45-50 DMG, 100-200 uses and needing let's say 1-5 twigs, 2-4 ropes and 2-3 gold nuggets?

Why did you name a scimitar Claymore.... Those are two different sword types, not even close to one another.... even as a name, that doesn't make any sense...

It IS actually Melu Scimitar, the weapon that Gilligan the laddersmith wields.
Also, im thinking about adding second scimitar as an update with lesser cost of resources and with less damage/durability.

I think the material requirements are perfect. Not to mention, anybody who wants to make it easier to get can simply change the damage and material requirements in modmain.lua and modinfo.lua themselves. I've never touched a mod before and figured out how to do that in less than 5 minutes just by looking at the mod folders.

It also takes less than 2 ingame days to locate and clear enough gold in the proper biome to craft 10 of these.

Great looking sword. I have no problem with the gold requirement but anywhere in the 7-10 range would seem fine. Almost as much dmg as a tentacle spike, 3x the durability, & looks amazing. Worth it.

After the author patches the last bug it works fine, I'm sure, i tested it and i must say, it's a very nice and balanced weapon addition to any server.

This does now not cause character freezing issue in dedicated server itself anymore, but when the item gets crafted, it consumes materials but does not appear anywhere (disappears). I skimmed through the code real quick and I found the problem (I tested it and after adding the following changes, it works fine on dedicated servers).

Can you add the following piece of code into your /scripts/prefabs/claymore_gray.lua:
inst.entity:AddNetwork()
BEFORE the line:
MakeInventoryPhysics(inst)
(I set the code at line 26 when i tested, it has to be before the line "TheWorld.ismastersim")

The following line has to be added by you to the mod, because i only changed the code on server side and manually in my downloaded mods cache, but when a new client joins the server and does not have the mod, it downloads the mod from you without the code addition, thus having problems with the sword crafting (as client and server both have to have the mod)

This does not work on dedicated servers at least. I see that modinfo.lua is missing some important things.

Can you add:
all_clients_require_mod = true
client_only_mod = false
dst_compatible = true

Optional:
server_filter_tags = {"items","weapon"}

And why not, just in case, priority:
priority = 0.0462498863
