God, imagine if this had a Halloween reskin

we need an game mode of community maps that where scrapped by valve in game so over time players can look at them and actually give match making feed back to map makers from what these maps could have been.. then people would be able to see what old updates and things were gonna be. even weapon prototypes maybe this allows creators to balance the weapons then as they see fit within the casual meta

i only played this map 2 times with real persons but other times when i play with no persons i only play with bots most of the times. I really like this map but no one plays it :(

Chuckles, just generate a navigation file. Load the map in the game, open the console and type in sv_cheats 1, and then type in nav_generate. When the lag comes, type in sv_cheats 0

At first i thought it was a payload map. I tried standing next to the train, on top of it and behind it but it wouldn't move. I did some research about the map and then i realised it was a control point map. Great map though!

i loooove snowplow its by far my favorite map i love it and i would love to buy a stamp for it but i couldnt fine one and also no one else plays this map xd wich is even worse for someone like me that loves it

This is possibly one of my favorite maps.

Fixing the HUD and model issues is on Valve's end, I'm afraid.

And some things that I think could be improved in the map are the train model and the BLU wins ending. Regarding the model of the train, you should make it so the train can either spawn in with the current bomb or the eotl bombs (you know the ones in the eotl video, you could have an eotl event in December and it could enable the eotl bombs and ducks on cp_snowplow. During the event there are various bombs hidden throughout the map and on the train, the regular bomb never made sense to me if it's supposed to be based off the eotl video) and also the cinematics of the ending, when it blows up you can see there is no damage and stuff and the outline on the train and bomb cart is still visible, it just looks weird in my opinion.
Anyways you should fix/update the map because it's really fun and I can't ever play it. The quickplay stuff might be Valve's problem but you should make the map less buggy (and maybe more like eotl?). Anyways great map, definitely one of TF2's coolest maps! :D

The reason I don't think people like snowplow is probably because the map is very buggy, sometimes the train is invisible, the HUD breaks very easily, the train's bomb cart can get stuck inside the locomotive, etc. The point is the map breaks very easily and that might be why a lot of people hate it. (Also for some reason cp_gullywash appears in the attack/defense quickplay as well)

Ok, I think it's about time someone asks for an update to cp_snowplow. Right now cp_snowplow is a server killer for some reason, in fact I haven't been able to play a decent game of snowplow since the Gun Mettle Update. It could be people just genuinely don't like snowplow, even though they bitched and moaned when it wasn't added in eotl, but I've noticed a few things that may contribute to the server dying.
The first thing I've noticed is snowplow doesn't appear when you go to attack/defense quickplay and press "show servers." That means people don't join the game and I think that contributes to the server dying instantly. Btw, there is no map picture/image/stamp when you do log on to a snowplow.

Ok I need some help and it has to do with this server's computer requirments-
So I have recieved a contract that is all based on this map. Every time I try, however, I make it just a little of the halfway point for 'retrieving server'. Whenever it hits that point, my screen freezes and after a minute or so it gives me the error popup "failed to lock vertex buffer in CMeshDX8::LockVertexBuffer:nVertexCount=4367,nFirstVertex=0". It's starting to interfere a lot with how I progress with my contracts, so some advice and those map requirements would be great. My system is Ubuntu, with 3.7gb memory. Respond Soon!!!

This map is just, just awful. I make alot of maps, I study map making, I get how it works. This map is so, so terribly awful. It's heavily defence sided. I played plenty of rounds on it. I only saw one round where blu won. ONE. Red was imbalanced and filled with terrible f2ps, while blu was filled with heavy/medics. Without an entierly organized blu team and a terrible red team, well, this map is impossible for blu. Maybe everyone who made maps for this update should take one freakin' look at borneo and see how you make a map.

I learned how to play this map within 3 - 5 minutes, didnt get even confused. 10/10 would learn again
