I found a solution to the missing map and battle board by just following the link it tried to use for downloading them. You use this link https://www.axisandallies.org/p/axis-allies-wwi-1914-preview-map-units-components/ and find the pictures they took for the map and battleboard.

Download them both, right click on each blank board while you have the game loaded, click on the little folder icon, select the corresponding file, then upload through steam cloud. This should give you both boards and will let you play the game normally.

its annoying when you try to do something like this and everything is broken like dont put it up if i need to download things it should already be done

Assuming the mod's dead? Been looking forward into trying this before getting the physical edition, but looks like there are still missing assets after loading this and there wasn't any updates for a while.

There appears to be an issue loading the models for all of the Battleships and all of the Submarines excluding Germany's, Austria-Hungary's, and the Ottoman's Submarines.

Did you design the 3d models yourself? If so would it be cool if I printed them for personal use in Axis and Allies WWI? I''m not even sure really how to do it but I'm trying to learn on my resin and PLA printer right now.

I am having an error. I can see the correct chip colors, but all the grey and red chips appear red for those who join my game. The green chips display correct, but the grey chips all appear red in multiplayer. HELP!

Thanks for making this. However I am having an issue with the other players grey discs showing as red. Is there is a way to prevent this?

I have it installed and set up, I play a regular opponant, so its a matter of finding an opponant. I dont mind, I would not sit on it all day, maybe a few turns a day! Give me a shout if interested

The battle board is just a small board where you setup the units that are involved in a battle to get a better overview. It's not necessary though

The manual references a battle board, but there are none in this upload, whats up with that?

Axis and Allies refers to the base rules system, not the alliances of WW1 itself. It is an awesome boardgame. My favorite of all the AnA games. Thanks for uploading!

Its in the style of Axis and Allies the original board game, so who cares

they wernt called the axis in ww1 they where the central powers
