And he sat there in agony for hours until he died. Now every week on the day of his death he returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00 a.m. He creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by pegging you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and he will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes nothing will happen: sorry man i am not taking the risk

Spinner is WAY too loud, and i'd like if you added the option for other rulesets. Like where you can sell your house at the end and having more kids benefits you etc

Hi, loving the update so far but the spinner doesn't seem to be very random currently. It seems to increase or decrease the value by 1 when flicked. I.E. The previous player got a 6. The next player will get a 7 or a 5 depending on which direction they flicked in. Something to do with the spin mechanic maybe?

I'm updating the German version and wanted to take over the wheel, but I can't take it over completely or copy it, only individual parts but then I can't put it together so that it works. How can I take over the wheel functionally?

You're supposed to use the flick tool (F5) and flick one of the pegs I think, but it seems to have a pretty consistent speed every time so it tends to be kinda predictable. I'd recommend just using the 10-sided die for a more random selection instead.

New major update: Reverted to the 1991 version with new high-res scans and new 3d models for the terrain and spinner.

Update: Added version-appropriate (2002) cards.

At some point Milton Bradley made a revision to the rules to bind salary cards to the chosen career, whereas previous versions made the player draw ANY random salary card. I don't have scans of the 2002 card fronts, but I'm working on coming up with some sort of solution.

Meanwhile I'd just ignore the rule change and draw a random salary card like before until I can source the 2002 cards.

Just tried this game for the first time. Could it be, that with the new scans you have a mis-match between the versions of game used for the board, vs the manual and cards?
IE; the icon for the artist is different on the cards than it is on the board. And the salary cards currently do not have any colours so it is hard to know whether they match a chosen career..

New update just dropped. Sethenstien provided some high quality scans, also added a pdf instruction booklet which was also provided by Sethenstien.

@Rafael_Knight_93 In the classic PC game you kept it. It was just something you could buy to protect yourself that would cost you a little, but probably not enough to skip out on it in the long run, especially if you ran into trouble with your car. Same for house insurance.

Ok, I lied. I added a bunch of fixes and accessibility stuff. Hopefully this should fix most of the issues people have been having.

Also note, many of the issues players are encountering are not a direct result of the mod, but rather the quirks and problems inherit from TTS itself as a platform. I implore you to do your own troubleshooting to get around these issues. TTS offers many tools and creative options to get around problems you may be having. And sometimes using something like a pen & paper IRL is easier for instance.

Notice: An influx of players have been playing TTS due to COVID, as a result my mods have been getting more attention, so I want to make this clear:

Please don't expect regular updates to this, or any of my other TTS mods. These mods were made five years ago, prior to many big mechanical and quality of life changes to TTS modding. As a result these mods are possibly outdated, broken, or obsolete by other community mods.

I have been out of the TTS modding scene for years now, and I would encourage you to look for other versions of these games made by other community members if you experience issues.

I currently do not have much free time, nor do I currently have much interest in TTS. My modding expertise is currently devoted to other games. However, if I revisit any of these projects, I will probably completely re-do them from the ground up and with new models, textures and mechanical implementations that were not previously possible when these mods were originally conceived.

This game is hard to play

good job, i was able to play with two other people and it worked fine. the spinner works completely fine if you know how to use it (took us about 5 minutes to figure it out). my only complain is that we had too look up some rules in other sites, expanding the rules would save a lot of time.

Clearly a lot of hard work went into this, but too many shortcomings. The spinner is totally borked and the inability to do correct tokens with the cars kinda hurts the game in a big way. A lot of limitations from the software, but that just makes Life not really much of a game for Tabletop Sim.

How do you spin without cheating?
