Try to rename vpk file that you want to upload. For some reason it doesn‘t read files with the same name that was used on your old uploaded vpk file. I solved the problem by renaming my vpk and it updated my files in workshop. But it will keep old vpk file in addons folders for users who subscribed to your mod before update so they will need to delete old vpk file to avoid bugs.

I copied the entire folder for lawrences texture, and forgot to delete the unimportant files :/
