Please update. This mod is the only one of it's kind, and some of my builds won't work without it.

I like this mod but its broken if i build some blocks on top of the elevator, the blocks dosent moved

please add 25 and 30 block varrent :3

If you're still working on these I seem to have small ships wheels falling through. Not sure if it's this mod, or something to do with the wheels on airplane parts mod. But the wheels don't fall through any other blocks.

guys sektan knows that some mods maybe broken but those are due to ksh breaking and changing things he will fix things but he works so can only do this in his free time

Because it is a door the short answer is there is no fix for not being able to lock landing gear to it.

this mod is awesome, i used as a launching platform for a small ship but i can't lock the landing gear to the elevator... any possibility to fix that when you have a chance?

Absolutely love this mod.

But it needs to be fixed now, the new update has caused both characters and ships to phase right through the platform. :/

Great elevator for personnel, seems to shred grids though

i use this mod alot on my carriers but lately im having trouble with the set height. i dont build things in multiples of 5. any chance we can set the height in the K menu in a future update?

can i connect with the elevator using merging blocks? i didnt try. but i would wonder if this works due to the fact that -at least last time i tried- the elevator was actually a door module :-)

der,_daen, key wording: if you do not connect the blocks. use merging blocks or connectors to connect the blocks and you should be fine.

Love this mod for stations that need large cargo elevators. I keep falling through the platform though. When it's going up I fall through, but while going down I'm falling after the elevator every now and then. Probably due to the speed of the elevator being a tad bit too fast. Hope it can be fixed in an update or something from Keen or from you.

sadly, this does not work, du to the fact that you cant lock your landing gear. so if you do not connect the blocks the engine thinks:"oh a collision" and booommm :-(

Oh really?! The video shows him using it for things you build.

As mentoined it many comments below: the elevator is actually a door. so it has a collision with other things. so its only usable for players. not for things you build.

Just so people know, the elevators are listed as doors in the games code. So your ships are being damaged because that's what happens when it comes into contact with a closeing door. Any way, here is my mod review of this mod.

A 3x3 version for small ships would be really handy. There just aren't a lot of good elevator mods out there. This is one of the best.

Doesnt matter if the handbrake etc is on or not it just destroys everything it tries to lift. Sigh.....

@hawkwar if you have landing gear, hand break, or dampeners activated it will destroy your ship, or truck as was my case (spent hours on that truck with auto save off that sucked)

Actually it wont lift anything without destroying it so as an elevator it fails completely.

I cant lock a landing gear to it so cant lower/raise a ship with it. I can lower a ship if it has a mass block active on the ship. I cant raise a ship with a mass block on it as the ship explodes..... any solutions out there?

Tried using this but my ship keeps falling through the platform all of a sudden, where I don't have enough power to take off, even though it was working perfectly previously

Love the elevators, my only 2 cents would be about the lack of texture on the bottom side. if both sides matched they'd fit seamlessly as elevator+doors even when used upside-down!

Also the due to the hardcoded physics of doors you can't do much about it until keen software will release us more code to work with.

Okay people need to understand how this lift works in code so they stop whining at the dev of this mod. So to put it simple this is a door or a block with a animation and you will know this by the fact the block has a open close option and that is how you control it. Doors can't have blocks on there animation parts like the lift itself, Also due to the animation of the block it can act funny so to keep your ships from just blowing to bits you need to lock the gears on it but also don't have them toch and you can't fly at high speeds with the ship or anything on your lift will blow up. Also when you're walking on the lift you will see you start to act funny when the lift is going down with gravity this is also due to the same issue ships have when they blow up on the lift. So if you're going to whine at lest know what you're asking of the dev.

yea... if possible to build buttons on the platform itself... like a small interior column with a button on top of it and flashing light on the other cloumn :D

Not bad, wish the platform had a bit more work done to it though, just looks funky a flat mass, especially when lifting large masses.

First of all: Thanks for all your awesome Mods. There are so much Stuff i use from you and wich fits perfectly to my way of thinking about Design... awesome.

Second: The reason why i write in here on this Modpage is, that i have a Problem with my already in building progess Mothership. Your Elevators are fiting perfectly right in it and are the best Cargo Elevators so far. But as far as im now in Building Progress im not able anymore to change there anything. It would mean to ripp a 60 mio ship horizonly in half an set another layer between those two parts... not funny in Survival Mode...

So i would ask you for the possibility to make mabe Elevators for 4 and 6 Blocks too.

One suggestion I'd like to offer, if at all possible, is integrate a conveyor and a connector in the middle. That way it can be used in MP survival to dock & resupply. Landing gear is kinda dodgy...

this is gonna be really useful for a ship i've been making for the last month. (btw it has taken that long because im lazy and don't work on it that often) a lot of your mods work VERY well for that ship and keep up the good work Sektan.

Odd question, but why do my ships seem to take damage when raising or lowering or is this not what they are meant for?
