Are Beorn, Radaghast and Gandalf in this mod? Or only in Middle Earth 4?

Thanks for making these mods. Does this version remove the halfling druid leader faction? Just asking, because I really like the mod in general, but can't see why there's a halfling faction in it at all, so if there's a version without the halfling faction, that's the one I want to play.

Oh p.s one other (very minor) complaint - shouldn't the Mordor faction leader by Sauron rather than the Witch King? (Debatable I know since Sauron didn't actually fight in any of the battles in the War Of The Ring, though he did in earlier wars)

Are there any plans to continue and update this map !? Otherwise, I'm very interested in doing that.

Should I play this map or the Middle Earth 2 rebalanced? You say this one is newer Shaithias, are there any differences between them besides th use of the necro DLC?

I have played both ORC and DWARF warlords and each time I attempt to research Manticore rider it disappears from research. Why is this?

He referred to the "Golden Realms"- (which includes halflings) and "Eternal Lords" (which includes necromancers) -expansions for this game... look at the game's main steam page, please. :)

Hi, i googled hafling and necro dlc and found nothing (only about diablo 3?). Pls help me to understand, where i can download them. Thx for mod and help

The map is great , but having only one hero for some of the factions is a bit rubbish. E.g Denethor is in as a hero for Gondor, but no Boromir or Faramir.

This map is brilliant, but not being able to get additional heroes is a major bummer. How is it going with the middle earth 4 idea, any hope?

Great Map! Its just a pitty that you can't make more heroes to join you, you are stuck with the hero(s) you begin with. If I'm on the good side, why I can't make Gandalf join me, instead I have to kill him? THere are also some independant cities with heroes in them.. once I get them as vasalls the heroes disapear.

what are peoples favorite play settings? i like city founding turned off and teams. also are corrupted rings worth saving? have only tried the scenario as gundabad orcs and never get another hero to join me. is that the way its coded or am i doing something wrong?

Great scenario, I loove the pics of the witch king, saruman, gandalf,....

Being the curious guy that I am :) I looked into the scripts and found there's a way for saruman, gandalf and radagast to join players, however as I'm not a script buff I have no idea what triggers their joining.

I'm around turn 40 now (playing Gondor) and they're still neutral, can anyone tell me what I've to do.

Yes will only make comments here. Couple of questions, playing Gondor:
1) Gandalf turned up once - anything player needs to do to get him or just random?
2) Cant build harbour even though have pre-requisits. Need to be oure sea hexes not rivers?
3) Penguins turned up again - can they be zapped?

The teleporters are staying for balance's sake.

Do you know how to remove teleporters from the map?

Great mod - bought the game and saw human hmusket and pretty much lost interest immediately. This mod however is exactly what I wanted. Have LOTR mod for TW and have BFME2. Hope you are planning to add more to the mod. Thanks again.

everyone is so close. hmm it's fun to discover it once, but teleporters screw up the allready small distance between each other.

Why Gundabad orcs, but not Isengard? Hell, Saruman was the only contender to Sauron to rule Middle Earth. dissapointing you can't play Saruman. I would recommend making gundabad a bit player and making Saruman a playable one.

um it crashed when I tried using it. I have the delux edition of the game

And it is the same with all my mods? Does anyone know how to fix it or am I just lookig in the wrong places? I check the custom/community/player made senario and campian spots.

It isn't appearing in the game. Do you know how to fix that? If not can you put a manual download/installation site please?

I suspect it is the Necromancer DLC at the heart of the problem. Not sure there is anything that you can do. Gratefull to Karstenbay.

Clarification: unsubscribe, then resubscribe; launch; go to usercontent, and update.

OK, I have it working, and I think I can explain how to do the update. If you have subscribed; run the game and not found the scenario, you need to unsubscribe. When you next launch the game, go to usercontent and there will be an update button. Update and everything should work.

I've gone to the AOW3 launcher and clicked "usercontent", but I don't see an option for "update". Can you explain where that option is located?

I had the same problem. I went in to the AOW3 launcher and clicked "usercontent" and "update". It worked.

Ok so this is very bizarre. I have the map in My Documents/My Games/Aow3/UserContent

All the community content scenarios are in: My Documents/My Games/ApW3/UserContent except Middle Earth 3. If the scenario is downloading, I have no idea where it is located.

Well, making aragorn become king of gondor would make him become the leader, and that is impossible to do on the fly like that.
