You should add more aspects of DOTA into it, eg, minions, turrets. I'm sure you'll find a way to integrate that.

hmm yeh i were thinking of clockwork to fit the bill abit myself he could easily look like an engineer in armor suit.
now that you mention it venomancer could be a good unit to either have spawns with or have like 2 smaller sentry like things (veno like wards)

My best friend is a die hard engineer player going back to TFC and Enemy Territory. There's no way he's going to let me NOT put in a builder-type. Tinker makes the most sense to me as the hero to fit the archetype, even if in Dota he doesn't actually summon anything (unless you count march).

ohhh okey just wanted to give you the headsup. and as i said i assumed you had other heroes planned that will fully balance it out abit more i do apriciate the confirmation on my beliefs.
i do have another question do you have any plans for a sentry based hero? either a builder or something abit overwatch like with bastion there maybe? when i say plans i mean on the idea stage.

Shadow fiend is getting nerfed a little bit in the next patch (and jugg/sniper buffed a bit), I just was hoping to fix up the UI more before putting it out. I'm trying not to get too crazy with tweaks as new heroes, new maps, new gameplay modes, new powerups, and special per-hero Ultimates are all things I'm trying to put together in the near future, and balance will change wildly around those points.

I do appreciate the feedback though, and it's certainly better for everyone if each iteration of the game doesn't feel out of balance while I work on the future.

again it just seems to be a problem currently but yeh sniper got the edge on long range and i guess it's as it should be. but i also assume if further heroes come there will be one that can deal better with shadow fiend as even everything taken into account shadow fiend seems to be the strongest hero atm.

that being said i know snipers can oneshot juggernaut but the charge time and reload time seems to get in the way alot since the other two heroes likes getting up close.

currently it feels like shadow fiend is to strong compared to the other two i assume as more heroes come to this mode they will counter each other in varios ways but right now it seems like shadowfiend can survive snipers and dodge the juggernaut.
juggernaut seems good to close the distance to snipers and chop them down.
snipers currently seems to be good aginst other snipers but not aginst juggernaut nor shadow fiend.

Hey BMD, I'm really curious on the technical aspect of this mod. I had this idea to have a this sort of camera angle but I always thought it would be really hard to reproduce within the Dota 2 Engine. How did you go about doing this? Technically i did a lot of the work for this game mode back around May, but i stopped working on it then and only picked it back up last weekend. Most of the dev time went into constructing the motion, camera, and aiming systems.
