Because this is a ninja weapon, like the Kunai, the stats should be:
Pros:
+300% attack speed
each normal stab steals 2 health from the opponent
Cons: backstab steals 10 health from user
Extra stats:
when the fire key is held down: automatically attacks

I think these should be the stats:

On hit: bleed for 6 seconds

+20% extra health on wearer

User immediatly cloaks when backstabbing an enemy

-10% slower walk speed when cloaked

-10% base damage on both primary and melee weapon

it should do more average damage if you hit tthem from the front, because sai's are usually used as a dick stabbing knife

I'm glad people have been pointing that out though. All criticism is fair, and immersion is key in any game. Something clearly impossible, the spy stabbing someone with a hatchet for an easy example, just wouldn't work.

I kinda want to point out that it's actually a blunt weapon irl~
I always find it weird how many places people think of it was a stabbing weapon(the prongs were used to block blades, while blows with the "handle" were how it was used to attack).
