do you know how I can make facebones or flexes for the model I uploaded that doesnt have them? is there a program I should use in particular, or is there a way I can do it in blender?

I'm crap at IK rigs, so unfortunately I can't really give any tips.. but I can tell you the shoulder/clavicle area becomes deformed in certain arm movements. I'll keep playing around with it, only had a few minutes so far today

Though one criticism I have is the IK rig could use some work, it isn't the greatest. Difficult to get many poses without noticeable body distortion. Currently it is easier to pose and animate without it.

@1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144 I do make flexes for models quite often, thoguht I wouldn't say I'm especially good at it. The biggest problem I have is time, wich I don't have much at the moment.

@Tovosh I actualy have been working on porting Twili Midna to sfm http://i.imgur.com/aZ1RQu1.png The rigging is really messed up at the moment though and I am awful at rigging models so It's kinda stalled out at the moment

I'm assuming you ported this via the request on sfmlab.. either way, thank you very much for doing this. With some usable eye posing and facial flexes this would be perfect. BaG many people would be very grateful if you chose to do these.

If you can get me said Twili Midna model, i'll gladly port her too. I stumbled across her imp model on a discussion on a forum, but there was no more link for something else or anything.

Is that where you got the model? They might have the extra skins there, somewhere. Though I don't know how to get the models myself/don't have the time... Especially since other cool people are doing it.

@BaG Are you good at making face flexes? I've been working on making one for the Stan Lee model I posted but honestly it's looking really bad so far (since this is my first time and I also want to work on other models) so would you be interested in working on it instead?

I don't use 3ds max actualy and the BLender FBX importer is a piece of garbage. I'll get better results if I decompile the model myself. Thanks though :)

not a problem, honestly I might do some work on this model myself to add real Source eyeposeing and posibly some face flexes next week. I have a strong distase for face bones. but we'll see how that goes

if you want to fix the problem in your IK Rig, go to lines 229 and 230 and change the numeric values from 10 to -10

It's a quick, dirty fix, but it works.
