4 years later this is still my favorite map

hey there, im having an issue with no cargo ships coming in, is that a setting on the map?

love it but then realized my music mod got disabled and then teh game dropped to 2fps. abandonded the city. retest and music mod is back with this map. anyone have issues with fps or was that a 1 off for me?

I love this map! I'm building my current city on it! Whole city is powered by dams, creating nice clean energy. I'm using lots of transit, with limited highway access as a challenge. Great WORK! I really love your maps!

I would like to rework the infrustruce in this map for some more realistice interchanges, slopes, and a few other things. I would like to release what I create to the workhop. I would give credit to you. I really enjoy this map but I feel the infrustructure is lacking.

Nice map, but a few things are quite annoying:
-The starting highway connection is in an awkward position IMO
-The shipping routes should come into the harbour and be more accessible by the starting island

Aaaah damn, perfect layout, but I wish it was temperate of tropical...

@affel Thanks fory our reply! Yeah, there are some issues regarding my maps and water flow, I'm sorry for that. Anyways, I would love to see some pics of your city, if you want to show it.

I build my biggest city on this map, so that must mean I like it :) and I do.
Just one thing to note: the water flow in the "basin" is sometimes even pulling in polluted water which gets a bit iffy once you get to a large city size. I had to take my pumps up all the way to the waterfall (where I put the dam as well) while the polluted water creeped slowly but steadily into the "harbor".
Also, when you start out and let the waste water flow into the basin, it is kinda stuck there for (apparently) eternity. Have had it since the first tile to a >150k population city stuck in the lower right part of the basin/harbor :)
tried to pump it out... but that took my poor population to a 30% health stauts :D
oh well... so it stays where it is.

I haven't gotten very far with this map yet, but so far I love it. The waterfall makes for an excellent dam location (almost twice the power output of a nuclear plant). Thank you for sharing this. Wonderful work!

I'm having issues getting shipyards working on this map... not sure why though. Other than that I love this map

Very nice map. Has some issues though with water being too steap for metro lines, and some areas on the mainland having steep issues when plopping pre-built highway intersections.
