Fair enough, but 200 sanity is a bit much together with 25% resistance and 1.75 more damage. I use a character with 50 sanity, less damage who is very fast, and I find it rather easy to maintain sanity. Maybe you're just not that good at maintaining it?

i don't know, either way i'm not changing his max sanity for balance reasons, i don't like characters who have it ridiculously low.

Yes. A state of fear has been known to have detrimental effects on a person's mental health. But what if the creatures only attack those with a low grip on reality because they can only see those ones?

nightmare fuel is dropped by the shadow creatures, nightmare fuel is implied to be physical manifestation of fear. nightmares are always scary to one, the shadow creatures are attracted to fear because they seemingly feed off of it.

I disagree. The sanity meter has always been a representation of the CHARACTER'S mental state and thereby grip on reality. I mean, it's right there in the name of the stat - SANITY. The maximum amount of a sanity stat is a measurement of how mentally stable they could possibly be. And no, I would not say that he would be any higher than 100.

I have absolutely no idea where you got the idea of how sanity could represent fear or paranoia.

i've said this time and time again, the sanity meter in the game represents the player's state of fear and paranoia, not being crazy or insane in general. Solly is crazy but anything but paranoid.
