Yeah, unfortunately I can't do much about that without editing the model itself. Also, I doubt they'd scrap it due to something like that. Judging from the L4D2 intro video and the original E3 reveal, they originally had the blade texture set so that it'd appear properly on the other side, but when they changed the texture in the retail version they made the blade appear mirrored on the other side.

do the words appear backwards on the other side? i heard thats why they removed it

I actually had a plan for the handle. Originally I was going to release a "Purist Edition" alongside this(because me and my friends agreed that the blue handle was kinda ugly) that had the blue handle, but all I did was recolor the handle blue because I didn't realize until my friend pointed out to me that it was actually blue duct tape, so I decided to postpone it. I'll still release the purist edition soon if people want it.

Amazing work on this, and to everyone else who took a crack at it. I do have one question though, Is it possible for it to have the blue taped handle shown in the intro/e3 trailer? if not that's quite alright.

Actually, if you look closely, it says 22". It might look like an X, but that's just from the wear and tear(which is probably why later on in the L4D2 intro they got rid of the wear and tear on that part of the 2). X2" isn't a real measurement.

I guess that's what happens when I only use a low res photo. lol

It's even more apparent that it's 22" in the L4D2 intro, where it appears they modified the wear and tear of the Hale Pro logo.
