It's not missing, those are the L4D1 medkit animations.

Bug fixed: when I try to look at defib bag as thirdperson, it looks weird.

Fixed now, should work for the L4D1 Hands, I still recommend that pack on Gamemaps though: http://www.gamemaps.com/details/4009 as it fixes issues with the L4D1 V Arms in L4D2.

Oh, I see, Valve didn't update the main VPK with the scripts that support the L4D1 Survivors, Update shall come to fix that.

@Scooty, the helping hand and the item pickup are broken probably because the normal one lacked those animations, still no idea on the l4d1 arms, there's a patched set of those on gamemaps, I recommend picking them up and testing, since the v arms in-game are broken.

Thanks for the update, the animations no longer break. But there is now a bug with the extended hand animations where it will occasionally flicker then remain idle with the survivor's arm extended. The L4D1 survivors also still have their arms missing.

I lied, I looked into it tonight and patched it, I haven't tested it, so it might still be broken, and the L4D1 arms, I have no idea why that would break.

This doesn't work properly when used online, sadly. The idle/extended hand animations break (draw and melee work fine though) and the arms for the L4D1 survivors do not appear at all.
