Ok, i saved the game, and now its not working any more. What a mess. I was so happy that it was working :(

It's been done before.

I don't know why, but right now it seemst to be working again. I can Mark a building again, i can mark an area, and up to now, the buildings don't get to the next level. I don't have changed anything

Historic Buildings is more for single buildings, when you want to hold the way they look at this moment. I use it too, but for districts it is not good, and this is, what the most of us need

The mod: Historic Buildings by CoarzFlovv, has a simular function to prevent buildings from leveling up, that still works good as long as you don't try to disable the historic status of a district.

I worit exacly this yesterday in teit wishlist, that this option must be in the vanilla game. Hope the do it, i cant play, like most of you, my save-games, the city-look will be destroyed :(

I can't play this game unless I can control level up, they need to make this an official option, need fixing now

@jcrodriguez08: I totally agree with you! We need this mod to have the freedom we want in this game. It is so much more diverse and beautiful with this mod. It made me enjoy the game so much more.

刚刚发现，游戏更新之后，这个MOD只能在区域规划那边设置x标记，而不能在建筑物上设置了。早前存档的设置不会改变，可以放心的继续玩下去，但是新的建筑必须通过区域规划限高。

I too have been watching that mod for the same reasons, fingers crossed. If it does get updated I for one will post here.

I'd suggest keeping an eye on Force Building Level. It's not Parklife-ready, either, but the author last made an update in March (and was last online 5 days ago), so I'm betting we're more likely to see something new there.

Love this mod, but given that its last update was March of 2015, I'm not holding my breath on an update. :-|

Since Park Life update: Anything I have built previous to the update is still holding their level. I can no longer stop any new lots from upgrading though and no longer see the “x”.

It's not working anymore

Following the Park Life update, the boroughs' level up limits (red crosses) are still working but the individual buildings' limits are not working anymore. I hope this will be fixed. Btw, good job for this mod.

Doesnt work for me either after the update

Hmmm... doesn't work for me after Parklife DLC... enabling/disabling won`t do. Anyone experiencing the sam issue? Any help?

The Remove Stuck Vehicles mod appears to conflict with this mod. This mod worked fine for me until sometime in November, then it just suddenly stopped working--the x's stopped showing up and it wouldn't let me put an x on any of the levels (oddly enough, zones that I had previously put an x on still stopped leveling up at the levels I had earlier assigned, but I couldn't change levels or create new zones with level up restrictions). After I turned off the Remove Stuck Vehicles mod, it went back to working normally again.

If you're having problems with this mod and are using the Remove Stuck Vehicles mod, try turning that one off--it appears to conflict with this one.

this doesn't work anymore, maybe an interaction with another mod?

I had problems with garbage trucks and landfills - the trucks not collecting properly or not going out - but I didn't have RICO anything on the game (had not even discovered it yet). My problem came from the mod that kept city service vehicles inside a zoned District. Stopped using it - the problem went away. Your problem might be that mod, not the RICO mod. Can't remember the name of the mod, but will look it up if you are interested.

@UnicornPoacher; I use this mod a great deal perhaps 1/3 to 1/2 of my city is limited at various points and no issues.
