Hey Justice :)
Thanks for your kind words. I want to let you know though, that this design was not my idea, so i'm definitely not a genius :zaglol: It's been a long time since I made this, but I remember, that I came across some very similar designs in the workshop during that time and then decided to make my own version of it and 'improve' the concept to my liking.
I haven't touched the game in years, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix that issue, sorry :steamsad:

Hey :) I have played CS for the longest time, with a 2 year break now. This design was my absolute go to, it is simply the best. Low traffic, extreme high land values without every service present. Effective and clean. You're a genius for creating this design. I think there has been an update though? If I try to connect a pedestrian path (to connect modules for example) the game tries to replace it. Would it be possible to "update" this mod? I'd love you to death! <3

The pedestrian path are to slope and very unrealistic!

A tram version would be the bees knees.

Hey :) No, i only did a couple of intersections and this one, but there is a lot of stuff out there with this concept. I didn't come up with it, it's just my shot at it! Glad that you like it

You do also have a starter map with this, right? amazing work thank you so much!

i've been trying to create a monomer for the city but failed with traffic every time lol. This one looks like it's gonna work with some changes. Thanks! :steamhappy:

This is a ripoff, AND it's not even the most efficient method anymore.

I took a look at this in the Asset editor, and it is possible to make a 'tileable' version if you delete some of the roads and pedestrian paths.

If you delete the avenues along the right side and the bottom side as well as the pedestrian paths that would have crossed over these roads, and then any pedestrian paths/ramps on the right side that would overlap the ones on the left side of the asset (20 ramps total), or some variation. Finally, remove the ramps at the very top and bottom of the asset.

You will have to rebuild some of the roads and ramps around the unfinished edges for a completed grid, but that's not much of an issue as it's just a matter of connecting the roads and ramps of your choice.

The hardest part though is finding a flat space that is large enough to not run into slope issues.

Ya you're right, you can't just place two modules overlapping each other. I had this in mind as something, that is self-contained and doesn't need to be completed, when placed. I tried to build something off of this, that does exactly what you want, but i wasn't able to come up with a satisfying solution, because it's kinda complicated, at least to me. Maybe you could give it a try yourself with the asset editor. The tool is pretty easy to use!

There are other versions of this idea, that are tileable as well, e.g. this one http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=409128510&searchtext=GBX
Might be what you're looking for, so use this one instead. :)

Have a nice day

This is great! Thanks a lot!

Perhaps I played SimCity 2013 too much, for I am getting a tad annoyed at non optimal space usage when putting the grids next to each other. I'm thinking it'll work just fine if they are chained together. By which I mean sharing the edges, so you don't get the edge twice (6 lane road) with some space in between. It seems like that when I place one grid, I can not just put the other one next to it like this without manually bulldozing a bunch of stuff first (is there a way to do this automatically? The game actually shows what needs to be bulldozed, though I'm not finding a way to say "go ahead"). Any help with this is much appreciated.

This works really well. There's hardly any traffic, especially if you get a metro station in there somewhere. You can see the cims swarming around on foot.

Yah, i'm not a modder, no clue about that.... this was just built with the Asset Editor. Unfortunately there's no feature to add an icon or something similar.. :(
lanier67 17. mar. 2015 kl. 3:29
the not showing a preview seems to be an issue with a lot of mods
flutsch  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2015 kl. 3:05
I think you have to restart the game first to make sure the asset is downloaded (happens when u start the game again). Ingame you just go to Roads -> Intersections and look for it (click right/left arrows maybe). It does not show the preview there, just a standard icon.

If I subscribed to it, where do I find it in game?
