Oh my god! Grimsby has a map. This is just too good.

Grimsby has their own map, this is awesome. Thanks.

@BrainEater5000 - It's my hometown too! Sadly the massive river near the coast isn't very accurate but it was necessary gameplay wise.

My wife is blown away that you made her hometown's topography for one of the games with which I will undoubtedly waste countless hours.

I second @musculus_risorius! As a Hamilton resident, I'd love a map of my city. Kudos on this one - pretty accurate!

@Traveller - I'll look into it when I get the chance. :)
CoyoteTraveller 20. mar. 2015 kl. 23:11
Any chance you could add a wider view screenshot of the whole map?

Thanks @Cowkiller! - I'm honoured!

Hey just stopping by to tell you that I've added your map to the Cities Skylines - Settlement Maps of Canada Collection. Thanks for all the work!

@Tnx - sadly that's not how the positioning of grids work in the editor, unless I'm wrong. Feel free to correct me.

I'm from Grimsby in England!

Ah, I meant the 5 tiles out in the ocean. I feel like those are a waste and should be switched to 5 tiles inland.

@musculus_risorius I'll look into it! That would make a great area! I love driving over the Skyway over Hamilton Harbour into Burlington!
Badabam  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2015 kl. 9:25
@Tnx - The 5 tiles are meant to be there to the north, there's tons of fertile land to be exploited up there and that's currently what its like in real life, sprawling farms and massive properties. I appreciate the feedback though! Feel free to open it in the editor and make any changes you want to fit your play style! I optimized this map for 25 tile play mostly but it does work well with 9 tiles.

Any chance you can do Hamilton? With Hamilton Harbour and Cootes Paradise - and of course the escarpment towering over downtown and wrapping around Ancaster/Dundas - it's bound to make an excellent map to play.
Tnx 14. mar. 2015 kl. 22:38
The 5 tiles to the north, were they meant to be there? I feel like it would be much better to have the whole playable area shifted a row downwards.
Badabam  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2015 kl. 16:24
@Hymntastic - Grimsby is my home town and the way that the escarpment sits in relation to the downtown is pretty unique. :)

I spend a lot of time in St. Catherines as well, maybe that will be my next project but I can't really pay the same amount of attention to the detail I can with Grimsby considering I live here.

Love the area. 40 Creek is the bomb
Hench4Life 14. mar. 2015 kl. 7:32
