Absolutly amazing

I really loved playing on this map, and thought maybe I should give you some feedback:
- in some parts of the river, trees start underwater.
- the cliff edges of the delta islands means you can't connect them all via subway (which meant a had to build a subway system for each island, plus have a train station on each of them to travel island-to-island)
- Your shipping route in the north travels over two islands (I named one of them Speed Bump Island, because it was hilarious to see the freighters drive over it)
- I had an issue with ferries: in the southern map connection, my ferries caused a massive pile up of ships. This only happened much later in the game, and didn't affect my cargo freighters, so no idea what happened there.

Got screenshots of some of these issues, if you'd like to see.

Bulit a city of 110,000 on this map. Great fun.

Why is there a bridge at the bottom of the river that you can't delete? :P Other than that I really like the map.

Hey Toinoumou :) All maps are limited to the same size, number of tiles, etc... I can't change that :( You can download a mod to allow you to buy all 25 tiles instead of just 9, but other than that, I can't "add" more space :P

Hi, nice map but unfortunatly too small if you like to create many villages around a big city.
Please add more tiles and increase the limit cos the map is really fun to play!

I built a dam in the starting tile once but it worked well... Never tried other tiles, though, I'll investigate this issue :P but for now, consider the Pharaoh river a world heritage site with rules and restrictions against Dam Building :P

I had the same problem as Autistic Explorer. I made a large dam (400k cost) one 2x2km chunk up river from the starting chunk. All it did was reverse the flow of the river...

I plan on updating it a bit still, my idea is to "zoom in" and "hand craft" each tile a bit so they're more unique and organic on the gameplay scale/zoom :)

I've loaded the map three times, but it was only a green plain. Today I did it again and it works. That's a bit confusing, maybe a bug in the workshop. Keep up the good works, the maps looks great!

Hey @Andi, is your version updated? It was a green plain after an upload bug in version 1.1 but it was since corrected. Or should've been. I've tried starting it here and it is working.

If your Steam is not updating Workshop content properly, try unsubscribing and then subscribing back :) Let me know if it works.

The map doesn't work, it's even a green plain.

the map works now, I tried to make a massive dam though and it ended up completely reversing the flow of the delta, it ended up drying out the river all together except for at the ends....

Good news, everyone! I was able to recover an old version of the file, had to correct the water flow again but no biggie... I've updated it yet again, backed it up and DELETED all instances of the map on my end... After subscribing and testing, it works, so it SHOULD be ok now.

Please, if someone can test if all is good now, let me know :) and thank you all for the attention and the patience, I hope you enjoy the map! :)

Apparently my own subscription to my own map overwrote over the map so I am getting only the green plains whenever I try to load it.......

So... yeah... I'll try windows recovery or something like that but, as of now.... The game apparently disappeared with my map for good... sorry :(

That's awkward. There might've been some problem with the upload... OR maybe the Update thing in the game doesn't work properly and I would probably need to re-upload a new version instead of updating this one... I'll sort this out when I get home, thanks for the patience and the warning :) (It works properly for me but I suppose that's because I have the original file in my computer)

Same here, only a green flat plain. Was working yesterday, except for the river !

When I load the map, it is just a green flat plain. Do I have to do anything other then subscribe and enable it to get it to work?

Hey there, everyone! The river SHOULD be working properly now :) Thanks for all the kind words so far :)

If you put a strong water spawner upriver that's above sea level then it will just flow into the sea instead of flooding.

This looks great! Waiting for the flow fix.

Just make sure the river slowly flows downhill. Make the entire borrom of the river a slope down to the sea, then it will flow ingame.

No problem. I've got it bookmarked, so I'll be looking out for v2!

Yep, it had a current on the editor but apparently it settled down :( I can't seem to fix it with the water source thing, guess I'll have to read about how the map editor works :P

Really cool map. Only issue is the river hardly has a current... and it flows in the wrong direction. A fix to the river is all this map needs to be worthy of a 5 star rating

This needs some nice middle eastern style buildings to go with it!
