The ramps are so ridiculously steep lol

These are beginning to move north. We have one or maybe two up here in Tulsa now. I do remember them being everywhere in Dallas and I loved them! Great addition!

Fantastic asset; and yeah, I can count on one hand how many interchanges here in metropolitan San Antonio d o n ' t use this layout. It works decently, but they cause some pretty intense traffic one the use of the road passing through the highway hits a certain point. Belaire in Houston passing under the Sam Houston tollway is probably the best example I can think of.
Brahmin Herder 11. feb. 2019 kl. 2:18
These are everywhere in El Paso as well.
tb10997 5. juni 2018 kl. 15:19
Always thought the name of this sounded like it could be some messed up inuendo on urban dictionary.
Bulldizzysquizzy 24. maj 2018 kl. 13:15
Yup, we have these in San Antonio. Great for causing traffic to back up in game and IRL.

@wildwykdfairie Yeah I lived in Houston for about a year and loved these! There are a few minor differences that I made to make it a little easier to use in the game: Like you said it could be a bit longer but I was trying to keep it compact. Another thing is all the bends around the off-ramps. Again trying to keep it more compact.
kyzuro 29. nov. 2016 kl. 20:09
Yep! They're still eveywhere on I-10, I-45, and 59.
WISD0MTREE 22. aug. 2016 kl. 10:09
I remember these all along I-10 west of Houston. I wish I was back there instead of NC. :(

been in texas for two years, and if they ever find the mad mexican that talked them into making these insane roads, they should do bad things to him. That and thinking BBQ involves a cow was the two biggest...WTF"s for me in this state. And Austin...one of the worst traffic cities in the country, I definately would not want to copy my city after its disastrous road system. Still cool though, I seen the Austin area map and thought this would be needed. Glad you did it, it's nice to bring your traffic nightmares to a game. :P
MoonLiteNite 19. apr. 2015 kl. 14:34
Reminds me about 2miles down the road. And about 2 hours worth of traffic for 20miles hahah :P
So they work so good, and so cheap to build, but with heavy loads everything just stops. In real life, and in game.
sketchesofpayne 11. apr. 2015 kl. 23:28
Common in a lot of the western US
Recer75 11. apr. 2015 kl. 18:08
Is it posible to have one whit dubel hight?
ytb 11. apr. 2015 kl. 6:50
Handles a high volume of traffic and I didn't need to tear down half a neighbourhood to retro-fit it, either. 10/10, would rate again.
Flipz 3. apr. 2015 kl. 17:34
This is by far my favorite way to transfer ppl from the highway to housing area's. Don't even live in texas... :) thanks!
mikemonk 2. apr. 2015 kl. 0:24
Really appreciate this! I lived in Texas for a long time, and didn't realize this wasn't the normal way to do things until moving away. Can't wait to use it in game.
dormibumusic 31. mar. 2015 kl. 7:45
Lived in Austin for two years and did a lot of driving throughout Texas. Once you get used to them, they are quite efficient. Thanks for adding this!
TheFunnyOne1125 25. mar. 2015 kl. 17:29
Awesome. I live in Austin.
[BLA]Unmortal 25. mar. 2015 kl. 2:25
i like this one its so basic but nice at same time.
gone try snuggel it in with my current city.
older than dirt 23. mar. 2015 kl. 15:59
Haha in Virginia we put off ramps in the middle of nowhere with no corresponding on ramp. One way trip to "I think we're lost."
Fahlur 23. mar. 2015 kl. 4:45
ive seen these in Montana as well. They are great
Maximum Broly! 23. mar. 2015 kl. 4:23
Fellow Texan, live in Houston area also. Thanks for adding this.
Ahuizotl 22. mar. 2015 kl. 21:13
@Balloono Found the Houstonian :)
Zeek 21. mar. 2015 kl. 19:46
where i live (arizona) we have the same thing but without the kink on the frontage road, For instance your on the road not the freeway you can go stright though the light if its green with no turning. (however i dont know if i could make this design with the games road editor.)
TheBigJu 21. mar. 2015 kl. 4:32
way too sensitive to slope to be useful..
TheDaftestPunk 19. mar. 2015 kl. 17:23
wait, so tyhis isnt a normal thing in other places? wow.
BoredClear 19. mar. 2015 kl. 0:19
We call them frontage roads in Texas.
BATLORD 18. mar. 2015 kl. 13:51
I saw one of these in Salem, Oregon!
Thunderous Clockwork WarMachine 16. mar. 2015 kl. 19:28
This is a tiny version of what I live near. Like this is what you find waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere in the country.

By me, which is admittedly the craziest point possible, it's a 16 lane freeway passing over an 11 lane road, with 10 lanes of feeder road.

On average, we've probably got like 10 lanes of freeway passing over 8 lane roads, with 6 lanes of feeder road.

I don't to understand why cities would be planned without these things.
Every other method seems like a mad hassel in comparison.
MancoRises86 16. mar. 2015 kl. 18:15
Those "frontage" roads are called "feeder" roads :).
GDK 16. mar. 2015 kl. 4:10
awesome
sveardze 15. mar. 2015 kl. 18:29
This bears a strong resemblance to a Single Point Urban Interchange.
Spooky 15. mar. 2015 kl. 13:20
As much of a proud Texas I make myself to be, these are retarded. Thank god I live in Midland and not Houston or DFW.
travius 15. mar. 2015 kl. 12:35
In Texas, the side roads of the highway are "Frontage Roads" and used for local access. Take a look of a map of Houston, TX and you'll see what I mean.
Saelith 15. mar. 2015 kl. 11:34
I definitely agree Nuttenbande Jmazunaki. People need to make the spacing the same as the default highways.
Chema_cagi 15. mar. 2015 kl. 9:46
My favourite intersection to date, especially in places with not-so-much traffic. Awesome work
mazulicious 15. mar. 2015 kl. 5:51
is there a possibilty that you chance the space between the highway to the space which used by the "regular" highways? further it would be nice if you chance the middle road (in the middle) to a large one.
Sol 15. mar. 2015 kl. 3:48
I am concerned that so many intersections would bring traffic to a grinding halt in this game?
themisfitjoe 14. mar. 2015 kl. 22:43
After living in Dallas for 10 years, then moving to Orlando... god I miss frontage roads
walter_nyc 14. mar. 2015 kl. 20:20
Very nicely done. Not for areas with lots of traffic. To many intersections overload the highway and you get the dissapearing car and truck bug.
Fsac 14. mar. 2015 kl. 19:36
As a Texan, I approve of this add-on. The only thing this is missing is the half-dead flora, and tacky star designs alongside the whole thing.
Buns 14. mar. 2015 kl. 18:58
A definate addition to my city. Thankyou.
