Do the laser antennas with the mod also work on multiplayer online servers? The vanilla laser antennas work very poorly if not at all.

Can you please increase range of this mod? This probably my favorite mod but it really bums me out that it looses connection before reaching mars. So it probably needs a range of at least 5000 kilometers. PLZ PLZ PLZ DO THIS!

The vanilla Laser Antenna has the same issue atm. Thats the reason im looking for an alternative antenna, hence beeing here :)

Anyone having problems with this Mod? Every time I place it i can't weld it up, because i can fly through it. Is this a problem with the Mod itself, or the new update?

What is the max range on this ?

@Colenor this info might be usless to you now but I tested it in space and it was connected to where I stopped at 968km. Communications where deliberately interrupted but both dishes could regain connection.

couldn't build the antenna, it faces straight up after you get to functional build level.

mine wont connect past 40 KM

If its Dishnetwork It won't work 25% of the time sat-mon. updates :P

i like both antennas...The huge satelite dish antenna and this one.

Yeah, the antena was more costly comparing to the vanila, but I guess that Devs changed the blueprints for it since. I'll look into it.

I really like this mod, much better then the vanilla Laser Antenna but i feel that the components to build this are a little on the cheap side considering how far it can reach. For example the vanilla one uses 100x superconductors, this is the only problem I have with this amazing mod, keep up the good work :)

Revisiting this mod: Just for the record Darth - I wasn't complaining it consumed power - I was merely saying i didn't expect it or anticipate it. Even though the nerf helped I think you should first and foremost remember this is YOUR mod, you make it your way.

Forget my earlier message where i did not archieve a connection between 40k meters. I solved it.

When you say it can reach 1000km? Do you mean like 1000 000 Meters? Im confused because i cant get a connection between 40 000 meters and they dont have any obstacles between...

Because they look cool...

Why i asked - they consume less power at the same distance from standard laser antenna...

Here; Red [i.imgur.com] is fine. Blue [imgur.com] looks good too. But try painting it Green [imgur.com] and it's Black instead.

Yeah, this bug I know, but it before manifested itself only if you build it on a grid without power and it went away as soon as you turn the power back on again, so it was low-priority for me... Will fix that.
