I can add the muzzle fire back when i add
{ event AE_MUZZLEFLASH 0 "1" }
to the fire1_layer section in the QC file

and smoke can be fixed by adding
$attachment "muzzlesmoke" "ValveBipee bd.weapon_bone" -0.16 3.63 16.12 rotate -90 -90 0
in the beginning secion

I'm having an issue recompiling the model with crowbar (weather I make edits or not), the deploy animation is messed up. Maybe there is a bad setting i'm using? any help?

This is an excellent skin. The weapon looks really nice, and is a good fit as a replacement for the silenced uzi. My favorite part is the animations; they feel very "official" in quality. There's proper shove-during-reload animations, helping hand animations, looking up and down animations, etc. Your other skins are also excellent in this regard.

I have to agree with Paul, I am finding the muzzle effect very distracting. A more subtle effect like the muzzle of Jimmako's Silenced Glock 19 (which is an awesome particle effect imo) would be cool.

I don't notice the viewbob during moving; if it's there, it's probably extremely subtle at best, which is more than what can be said for other animation sets that utilize viewbob during idle and/or moving. coughcoughhypermetalandmaxcoughcough

I think I'm just gonna uninstall the particles mod for now. Frankly I'd rather have no particles effect than change my FOV and/or the way I play. Again thanks alot dude and keep up the good work!

Almost forgot, are you planning on making a HUD icon for Hitman's silverballer (the unsilenced one w/ the long slide as replacement for the Magnum)? That would be pretty cool.

Also, the way you play with SMGs could be playing a role. With anything full-auto, I rarely spray-and-pray, I usually only do bursts of 3-6 rounds at a time unless I'm in a firefight with a tank. That might affect how much smoke there is and, in turn, how much it obstructs your vision.

@Paul: I found it slightly annoying myself at first, but you'll get used to it. And I'm not sure how I can adjust the size of the particle without it interfering with other things that use that particle effect, sorry; the insertion of the particle is 1 line of code in the QC, and the size is constrained to the particle effect itself.

Your field of view ("cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor x" in dev console, where x is the FOV number) may also play a role in this, to some extent. What do you play at? The game's default number is 51; I play at 60, and this was, for the most part, optimized for that number.

With the particles mod, the gun produces a thick white smoke when fired which is really annoying as it takes up a rather large part of the screen and obstructs the vision. Especially in dark areas.
