It seems to be no longer functional at all, sadly. I may try to recreate it, if I get the time to.

This looks wonderful, and would be a nice paring with the A.Q.D. Small Grid Expansion mod. I realize this is an older mod... and hasn't been updated in a while. I am not sure if you are even online here these days. I will give it a try, and see if it still works.

Personally, I would probably go for one that was even slower, as it has a limited size, and lower the materials cost, but possible include a few thruster components to account for how it gets hot enough to refine some metals in such a small space. I had thought of making such a mod, and stumbled across this. I will try to let you know if it is still fully functional.

I just downloaded this mod and there seems to be a problem with the textures. the refinery appears in violet (default colour of space engineers for models with missing textures). however there are 2 .dds-files in the textures/models folder??? anyone else having this problem?

Could you make a small ship assembler in the same fashion? I would love to have an assembler on my construction ship. All other small ship assembler mods I've found use small ports which are useless for things lke interior plates.

I may have found a bug. This was in MP if that makes a diff. I docked a ship with this part to another ship. When I un-docked, the refinery started making a clunking noise and the ship cannot be controlled. I have to turn off the refinery in order to fly. I have to dock to something in order to refine.

ya, this refinery takes 2MW but the normal refinery takes 1/2MW
was that an accident? (4x instead of .25x)

decided to give this a go but where i can attach things is really odd, one conveyor port is completely useless as i cant attach anything to it and there are various locations around the refinery itself that i cant attach anything to

y is it needs 2mw and the big refinery needs 560 kw ?

Hi, might have been suggested already (probably has) but could you make an assembler for small ships also. I've been using the small ship mega mod pack for a while and recently discovered the assembler's conveyer ports are too small to transfer larger items. Which is stupid since it can build them. It forces the player to move things around manually.

The refinery wasn't a problem since ores and ingots can go through small conveyors but I love your refinery's look (especially for symmetrical purposes) and compact feel. Would love to have an assembler with the same size and general shape so I could pack a room in my ships with all the production blocks.

I can only attach Conveyor system parts to one side? That seems rather silly and limiting. Initially I had a little mining ship that would pump raw or into a cargo hold which would then pump the raw ore in to this here refinery. However, the other end of the refinery refuses to attach to either connectors, conveyor tubes or ejectors, which means I have to manually move refined goods from my mining ship to another storage medium.

Please fix this! This mod is such a good idea otherwise.

@MrJinx I don't remember exact refine rate and speed, I can only tell you that I've made it less efficient since it's small ship only (someone already asked that so answer is somwhere in the comments, not sure where) as for items required to build it i'll give you this:

I was playing around with it when sombody smashed my ship! Il'm still trying to get him back.

There is a Smallshipmegamod pack which basically has converted ALL the large ship only stuff to smaller versions which work on the small ship grid, However I much prefer the redesigns which people come up with, this one is great but still needs sorting out with mounting poiints and connector issues sorted out, As a refinery it only needs to actually attach via the standard small ship conveyors. Great mod, Really want to see an assembler in this design and have Large ship versions of them aswell.

In fact, the attachement points are really messed up!
There are only very few points, even on the flat sides, that you can attach something to!

Hmm...not sure what to say. Tested it in multiple worlds.
On the good side, it's a really nice model; no arguments there, but:
- one of the ports only allows big containers to be build at it
- 2 MW power usage for a slower and less efficent refinery...kinda strange, isn't it?

Is there a possibility of making a large version of this? This is a really well-done model and I'd like to use it for large ships (as a space-friendly alternative) or just as a decorative item.

I'll probably make an assembler in about a week (I still got some college work to do and I'm workin on another weapon mod now)

Oh! It is so small! it can probably fit in my dart class shuttles. Nice mod, by the way! Always wanted devs to make small versions of assembler and refinery!
