Agreed. I'd rather put up with a bad map then the KF_Deckv41 map for example. Some server is hosting it and as far as I know, it has never changed maps since it reached that in the map listing because it takes bloody forever to load...
(really, I am not waiting a whole day to download a map. it downloads at a pace where by 10 minutes, you are only 2.2% done.)
-There's files all over the place that don't even include the mapname in the filename, making your map a standalone rom file will make it more likely to be shared and survive past a workshop subscription.
-80mb ?! (~41mb compressed) if I'm going to put players through that download, it better be the most awesome map that ever existed. Why does it have to be so big when the screenshots looks like copy/pasted assets from stock maps ?
