Drop the vpk to custom, that should fix. Also, try running Insurgency with -noworkshop parameter while having the vpk in custom. It does work.

Cleared workshop folder and unsubscribed from any potentially conflicting mods as well as verified cache. This mod will probably eliminate the killflash for maybe one game, but the next time you launch it, it's there. It simply doesn't work. Thanks for trying anyway.

@Muttsurini You need to go into insurgency2/insurgency/custom/workshop and delete the original files. Unsubbing doesn't delete them unfortunately.

It is not possible for this mod to add sidemount to AKs, this only contains models and textures of the optics, nothing else.

You might want to check what mods are you subscribed to.

I don't know if it's this mod or "MrBrightside's CompM4s with magnifier without dust covers" or both that's adding sidemounts to the AK-- assult riffles. Might want to check that out, if it wasn't for that issue I'd use these over Mr.Brightsides stock scopes.

@Farengar I just verified the game cache. 4 files failed to validate. Other workshop mods weren't loading either. After verification and re-downloading everything worked fine again. Thanks for checking anyway

The new update(Feb 21) broke the model. It can be selected, but it doesn't show up in the menu nor in game.

Have you unsubscribed from the original mod? No other people reported the killflash still being there and it's not there for me either.

@Player:
Killflash (or honeycomb) is used on optics to reduce the lens glare, so that the enemy can't see the reflection of your scope. See original mod and compare with this one.
