Thanks for the mod Mark. Do you know that page 4 of the common rule book is missing?

Also check out the PRESTAGS Triptych games, they have more terrain tiles (roads, etc.)

Hey damonthreet,
This TTS version of the game requires a bit of DIY. The maps for all battles in history are on the internet; including the units who fought, overall numbers and types, the terrain, and the victory conditions of those battles. Often on the original maps (that were composites of actual battle terrain) you had to ignore certain terrain features that didn't match the battle being played. The terrain was always "not quite right" because of this. Also historical research in the mid-seventies wasn't as easy to find as it is on the internet today. This is why I included the tablet in the mod. In conclusion, your best guess is as good as most history books (articles) you can find. Experiment.:greatwarstar:

I think I have the terrain figured out. How do I make the roads and put in the set up letters.? If I was setting up the map for the Yeoman scenarios I would need roads and the letters for counter setup. Or are there base maps that I don't know how to access?

Hey damonthreet,
I may have misunderstood you, I was talking about the new terrain tiles from the PRESTAGS Triptych games. The tiles in this game are covered by the Standard Rules, and to deploy use CTR-C to copy and CTL -V to paste where needed. Hope that helps...:dicemiss:

Hey damonthreet,
If you mean,"what rules are used for these new tiles", I envisioned extrapolating existing rules. For example: use the written road-rule for brown trails, but maybe double these for the the grey roads. Or perhaps fortifications may be either better quality trenches or impassable walls until breached with x-number of D's or E's on the CRT. Likewise fields or hedge can be just lesser quality woods blocking sight but not adding to combat. Or use any combination of these rules that fits that particular battle's needs, PRESTAGS is very flexible. :toughness:

How do you use the extra terrain tiles.

Searching for players here

Hey erinsbest here's the numbered hexgrid (couldn't find a better quality though!) It'll snap to the grid.
MadMark56  [author] 4 Dec, 2016 @ 9:28pm
good point erinsbest...I don't knoiw how I could add them except maybe doing it by hand with the draw tool on each hex individually. Seems tedious, but I'll look into it! Mark

it looks good but there are no hex coordinates

Yeah been playing long time, Wolfpack no worries, I will have the files for Wolfpack soon so will see if I can put a mod together...
MadMark56  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 4:37pm
Sorry no Wolfpack, thanks for the kind words...few "oldschool" wargame players out there!
Dirty Harry 31 Dec, 2015 @ 4:32pm
Brilliant! THANKS! You haven't got Wolfpack by any chance?
