seeing the "cats" as regular "human" characters is just offputting ngl-
would be 100x better if it wasn't essentially a bunch of people in fursuits-

I return to DST after God knows how many years of break.
I had to sit on mods all day and give up a lot. But this is one of the most important mods for me in the entire time. Is there any chance of an update for newest version of the game?

why do we never get non-humanoid characters

This has been my favorite mod for years. Back when it was just wisp, I believe.

I just got the mod and love it but i just noticed there are two of each cats lmfao!

Mind updating this for the new patch that Klei released? You can take a look at what "Goat Slice" did with his "Reign of Runts" mod for guidance, since he is the only one who has updated their character mod so far.
Favourite food, new strings on character select and so on?

game crashed with this error-

This doesn't seem to work? I've subscribed yet I don't see it in the character screen. Is there a fix for this?

All of these characters are very fun, entertaining and have such a unique charm to them! However, as others have said, there's a bug that displays each character twice, which takes up a slot for any other modded character. The option to configure which characters can be played (i.e, Wisp is the only one to show up on the character select screen) would be neat, as some people only want to play as one of the cats without the other 2 taking up slots.

there's one glitch with this and that is it triples the character making three more duplicates of the same character select thing taking up room for the characters but otherwise good mod- just wish that can be fixed

Same problem as Cazhe :) Wisp won't hack up any furballs, and seeds only give him hunger. Nothing else :)

Mod is running fine for me right now, except Wisp is not able to make any hairballs, no matter how many seeds I eat!

i'm really interested in this mod but unfortunately it just keeps saying that its downloading. However, its been like that for a few days.

Updated! Everything should be in working order now, and I added any missing new lines of dialogue. Special thanks to @Brian the Abyss Gazer for finding a fix, it seems to have been an issue with the craft tabs that was messing with the UI and causing all the weirdness. I didn't seem to run into any problems testing, but let me know if something weird happens for anyone.

Sorry I've taken so long to get to this, I've just been nonstop hella busy and haven't had a decent opportunity to touch my mods. Until I can get a solid week with decent freetime to work on a fix, I'm gonna see about reverting to an alteration the previous version (adding in obviously non-problematic things like new dialogue), so at least it isn't doing the bizarre as heck things it's doing now.

Please fix this mod. I am an assitant modder myself, and would love to see this mod back, even if i have to help you do it.

Is this mod looking to get a patch or reverted to the previous patch? It's been unplayable for a few months now :/

Me and a friend were playing with this mod in Don't Starve Together. It seemed like I was working alright, except whoever wasn't the host player was unable to see their current health/sanity/food, etc. They would decrease as normal, but on the UI it would always appear maxxed.
