Is there any way to use the pieces provided to make your own board/'custom' map?

Ive stripped down the table and made 3 different in depth maps. One of my friends was blown away with how much effort I put into them.

Goes to show this game is addictive. I even made Scenario maps.

Trucidar, sorry I don't have a pc at the moment. I'm getting a new one this weekend, I will update the game, rules, and add a tutorial video.

Bio, the example was if the unit was dug in. The standard defense of infantry unit is 3. If dug in you add a 2 there defense, thus making it 5. Therefore only the d6 would have hit.

Also can "Dig in" be used in the open if you don't have cover? I would assume it would be ewual to going prone.

Ex: Infantry attacking infantry: you fire at opposing infantry, you have 4 infantry men and the enemy has 4. you roll 4 dice *dice rolled* (outcome) --2d 4d 3d 6d-- only the 6d gets a hit. and the opponet losses 1 infantry man.

but you said infantry have 3 Armor. so wouldnt the 4d also hit?

You are right about that ThatGuy. Yes it is too luck based. Im working on a method to eliminate the "Too much luck" aspect of the game. Also adding some new vehicles. I did however add Bazooka men to turn the tides of luck just a little. I do appreciate the critiscism. Like I said in the description. "With your help and critiscism a true balanced game will be created."

I played this about a week ago with the creator. It was interesting and unique, but I felt that it was based too much on luck. For example: my tank missed an infantryman at point blank range. It needs work, but it's still a game that I'd recommend playing. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll have a lot of replay value in its current form.

Like I said in the Description. I did not make any 3d pieces. Sorry.

I just downloaded it for the pieces. Did you make the models yourself or retrieve them from somewhere else? If you made them yourself, how do you go about doing such a thing? Thanks.

Thanks for the feed back. I was thinking of a better way to give initiative rolls. I have not seen Starwars miniature game. I will give it a look see. As for the player choosing which of his units goes first, it creates a chaos factor for the opposing player. Say that you have your eye on taking out that enemy artillary with your infantry squad moving on its flank on the next turn. But then the turn comes up and the opposing player goes first and he decides to move the tank first and is flanking my men. All of the sudden that artiallry is no longer of priority and the tank takes it place. So I would need to move my tank or artillary up to take out the tank.

to much luck with that initiative rolls.
Also it is strange that player can choose which units make the turns.

Check out the Starwars miniatur game for a better initative rule or create something completly new.

Just for example:
Every player decide the order of the initative hidden from the other player (Units cards that are placed in the "hidden hand area" from left to right)
Now a dice is rolled which player make his first move. He shows the card of his first unit and move it. the card stay afterwards visible on the board.
Than the other player move his first unit and so on.

Even playing for my first time, was still relatively easy to learn and had a blast wargaming. 10/10 do recomend.
