How did you get over the recompile Problem once you change the ownership to Space Pirates? Don't think a pirate will do that for you... So wonder if you found a Solution on that...

I take it this doesn't work in pvp? Because you cant set ownership of a sensor and programming block to an enemy...

It'd too bad a drone or something couldn't be attached to a ship with this, and then activate/place the block on the enemy ship - the only way I can even think of that working is a merge block, or MAYBE a connector.

so I like this program. but its missing 2 things. disable sesors (some NPC ships secirity is triggered by them (FTL NPC packs)) and some thrusters trigger warheads so normaly i dont like to turn on inertial damps.

this is REALLY GOOD!!! i used it on a mining carrige (nearly got shot to death) and it stopped dead in its tracks, and i got the thing and hijacked it back to base,

Try disabling messUpThrusters and messUpGyros in Shi'ido, version .9 actually has settings... (and I'm currently working on a version that captures the ship and delivers it to you)

You'd have to get somewhere you can place the required blocks on the ship sometimes. If you know the location of a connector on the enemy ship you can set up a drone with the virus, latch onto one of their connectors, and run it from the drone.

I'm away from my computer and can't really go on SE right now. How would you get this virus on an enemy ship? Would you have to board it?
