You know this game already has a craftable lighter, right?

1) When you join server, the lighter is on ground. 2) When you go into a cave, or exit a cave, the lighter gets dropped and does not go into or out of the cave with you. It's beenlike this for a long time, has the mod author abandoned this mod?

whenever i join on my server the lighter is on the ground and it's really annoying because i keep thinking it's in my inventory but it's not.

... are people really continuing that? We won already. Stop it. Your making it old and when it becomes old it becomes something people ignore. Do you really want to be ignored when theres a real issue or do you just like continuing to cry wolf?

If I got into a cave, my lighter gets dropped on the ground. If I climb stairs back up, again I drop my lighter. Looks like you can't carry one to the caves or back.

who am i kidding LET IT ALL BURN!!! ... but yeah... it should have durability options to like change if it has durability and like however many uses till it breaks... unless it already has that... eh just quickly going threw mods looking for useful, fun, hard, etc mods make things more "interesting"

drew isn't that actually the recipe for vetrens? also I like the idea of a craftable lighter that has nothing to do with willow's lighter after all you can craft a lot of machines why shouldn't you be able to make your own little heat/light source? and if you put that much effort into making it heck yeah you should be allowed to have a pretty nice lighter.

ok i figured out from the klei forum they said variables between the server and clients are different. so if client wants like.. a recipe from an unicorn shit, the server understands it like a yeti shit or something else and denies it. hope klei fix the problem.

maybe make the recipe with 5 cut stone,1 fire staff,40 coal,3 gold and 1 red gem as easy recipe,will be verry good for new players of don't starve (i play Dont Starve on beta),and making a sugestion of mods,make a mod what adds some weapons,materials and some mobs,and a sugestion for your mod,advanced farming,please add strawberryes and add apples :D.I'll be verry happy if you make something like that,sorry if my sugestions are ABSURDE beacuse i dont know verry much of mods and i don't know what you can make or no.Sorry if i say something what you don't like.

the host has it and im trying on my own server too when i get it i will check but the host had and it didnt work right he also had an antigriefing mod would that be the cause it prevents newcomers from burning stuff...

hey i have a problem it doesn't give out any light when i use it but i can go in to the darkness so the light is there but i cant see it i guess. do you know how to fix that? can give you a list of other mods if you like...

Rellin check in any DST mod, in the modinfo.lua for this line of code to see.This mod it's set to true. So only the host needs it to start ,the clients will auto download from staem.

I host a public server and some players say they can not craft items I have modded in, like this one,. Do they need to the mod as well, or is there something I need to do so clients can craft things that I mod in?

For cheap, I'd suggest making it have durability but more so than the torch. I'd make it 1 rock 1 flint 5 nitre and 1 gold

Crafting recipe should be 2 gold 2 stone 1 flint 1 nightmare fuel , since it has infinite durabillity and in the picture of willows lighter you can see it has golden rims
