A little buggy, the first door is two doors? And the first time I played, I had to restart because I went to the ladder first, it dropped, and then I got the key from the room, and then when I went back to the ladder, the ladder went back up and I couldn't get into the attic.

SPOILER: You need to throw the "Holy Weapon" (the cross) against the red eyed objects in the house.

I don't know what to do after obtaining the crucifix. I managed to "throw" is out the bedroom window, but it just returned to my inventory. I also managed to remove the covers from the lamps that I'm sure were just to black out the room entirely.
